Hi guys, happy hump day...we're half way through the work week! Today I have 4 new shades from Nicole by OPI to share with you! These aren't a part of any collection, just new core colors I believe. Check out the swatches after the jump!
Please Red-cycle is a red creme. Really pretty color but something we've seen several times before. If you're looking for a good red this is a nice one though. The formula was fantastic, I used 2 coats but if you have shorter nails 1 coat would probably be perfect.
Plum To Your Senses! is a vampy purple shimmer. I'm a bit on the fence about this one, I love vampy shades but I felt like I couldn't tell this was purple even out in direct sunlight. You can see the purple around the edges of my nails but that's about it. Most of the time this just looked black. The formula was nice, a little on the thin side but it was easy to control. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Still Into Pink is a bright neon pink with a great shimmer. This makes me feel like summer, given our weather here this week I've been in the mood for a neon. This shimmer in this was great, it was noticeable in bright and lower lighting. The formula was great, not streaky at all and super opaque. It does dry down to a semi matte finish because of the neon in it, I did use top coat for my photos. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Totally In The Dark is a shimmery black. I really like this, it looks like the night sky, the shimmer is easily visible in the sun and in the shade! The formula was good, I had no issues with application...I used 2 coats for the photos below.
These will be available in stores beginning January 2013 for $7.99 each at retailers including select Walmart, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Kmart, Kroger, ULTA, H-E-B, Meijer and Duane Reade locations. In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaw, and London Drug.

I love them all, especially the pink, red and black one. :-) They're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a boring collection... :( Maybe I just have too many polishes now but these aren't exciting at all. Your swatches of them are lovely, but I wish the companies would create more unique & interesting polishes along with the plain ones.
