Hi guys! Hope you all had a good weekend! I did, I organized my stash like a boss, I still need to organize within brands but it's much easier to find things now! Anyone watch the Grammy's last night? I DVR-ed them but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, I usually just speed through like 90% of the show anyway haha! Today I have LCN's Blossom Sorbet Collection for Spring 2013 to share with you guys! Check out all the swatches after the jump.
I Love Mint is a minty pastel green creme. It leans a bit towards the blue side of mint green, especially out in the sun. The formula was nice, a little streaky at first but not too bad. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lilac Blossom is a blue leaning lilac pastel with a soft shimmer. The shimmer in this was pretty much hidden to the eye once the polish was on but I think it helped the formula out a bit. This was a bit sheer but it wasn't too streaky and it built up without any issues. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Soft Daisy is a pastel yellow with a subtle shimmer. The shimmer in this one was also pretty much invisible once the polish was on the nail. This was a bit softer looking in person, for some reason pastel yellows keep wanting to photograph brighter than they actually are. The formula was good, a little on the thick side but application was good for such a pale yellow. I used 3 thin coats for the photos below.

Vintage Rose is a coral creme. Surprisingly this is my favorite of the collection, I really love the shade of coral...it's not too orange or too red, it's right there in the middle. I also really like the finish of it, it's a creme but it looks nice and shiny/squishy on it's own and without top coat. The formula was a little tricky, I found it to be a bit on the patchy side so you have to be careful while applying it. I used 3 thin coats for the photos below.

I love all! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like Lilac Blossom. It reminds me of the purple from Zoya Lovely, but it's warmer instead of icy so it looks more wearable.
ReplyDeleteAwesome as always;)
