Enchanted Polish Love A Lot Of Glitter Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the Love A Lot Of Glitter Collection from Enchanted Polish to share with you guys. I was pretty darn excited about this collection from the moment Chelsea announced it because it's a Carebear themed collection! As a child of the late 80's and early 90's I pretty much grew up watching Carebears, sometimes if I catch the old movies on I still watch them haha!

Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Formula wise all of these polishes were consistent. The formula for each is thick, Chelsea made them that way so you don't have to fish for glitter. I didn't find application difficult with any of these. I dabbed on a coat of each glitter over my base color for each. It was easy to get a ton of glitter on the brush which is always nice. I used CND Air Dry as my top coat for all the swatches in this post.

Daydream Surprise has about a billion kinds of glitter in it, everything from shards to bars to hex glitter to small shimmer. My favorite thing in this polish is some glitter that I actually had no idea was in this mix until I stepped into the shade, it's like shards of mylar flakes. I don't even know how to describe them, you can see what I'm talking about in the 3rd picture! I layered Daydream Surprise over China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around for the photos below.

Freeze Machine is another glitter bomb with all different types of glitter in it, this one overall has a bit of a pastel look to it depending on what you layer it over. It also has those iridescent mylar bits that I loved in Daydream surprise. For some reason this makes me feel very Easter-y. I layered Freeze Machine over OPI Can't Find My Czechbook for the photos below.

TenderHeart  is mostly red and iridescent glitter. There are red hexes and a ton of red hearts, there is also some silver diamond glitter in here that I love. I really loved the amount of heart glitter included in this polish, I usually have issues with polishes that have any kind of unusually shaped glitter because it's hard to get out of the bottle. I didn't have any issues with getting the hearts out with this polish! I layered TenderHeart over China Glaze Fade Into Hue for the photos below.

Tummy Time is another glitter bomb with a little bit of everything in it...lots of bar glitter and shard along with hearts and stars. I pretty much love that there is so much going on in here, it works with the name of the polish. I feel like if all the shapes that came out of the Carebear stare turned into glitter and poured themselves into a bottle it would definitely look something like this. I layered Tummy Time over OPI My Vampire is Buff for the photos below.

Wish Me Good Luck has mostly black and yellow-y green glitter in various sizes in it...however there are also bits of blue in here. What I love most is the huge hex glitters, I wish I could have gotten more of them onto my nails! I really like this one, it's so much better in person than in photos! I layered Wish Me Good Luck over Morgan Taylor Lost In Paradise for the photos below.

  5. Try Daydream Surprise over a dark color--it's a stunner ;). Happy to see a swatch of Tenderheart--that's the one I managed to nab at the last restock, hehe!

And your mention of the Carebear Stare made me lol! I loved them growing up :)

  7. Thank you so much for this! I really wanted to get them, because I love EP holos and duochromes, but I don't really like these, so yay, money saved! I'm sure I can spend it on other nail polish though, lol.

  9. My problem is they always list new items after I've already turned off the computer for the day and of course, they r gone in the morning :O(

  10. I'm a fan of unique glitters, but these just feel... messy. There's so many different types of glitter at once that it doesn't look cohesive or planned out.

Your swatches are well done as always, though!

  11. Holy Glitter Bomb! I love how indie brands make such unique glitter polishes! These are pretty crazy! Love Daydream Surprise! I'm such a sucker for anything that sparkles!

  12. Strange thing: I am a huge fan of Enchanted Polish but its glitters leave me absolutely calm (first Haloween collection and now this one). But these two new holos Chelsea has recently added to her site, J'Adore and Britney Spear-Mint, oh... be still my heart. They are sooo lovely.

  13. I love indie glitterbombs, but most of these just feel careless and random to me. Like the creator just threw a bunch of different glitters (way too many) into one polish and the result was a polish that just looked messy and overdone. Sad to say that I'm not really a fan of any of these!

  14. I was thinking of getting Freeze Machine for its original name before the collection changed, but seeing your pics makes me glad I didn't. I'm just not a fan of bar glitter.

  16. I was set to purchase the entire collection on llarowe today during the launch but I'm SO happy I saw this post first; I've definitely changed my mind. I believe the only ones I'll try to purchase are Daydream Surprise, Freeze Machine, and Wish Me Good Luck. I won't be terribly upset if I don't get them though.
