Hi guys! Today I have a few swatches of some Maybelline Color Show polishes to share with you. These are wildly availably at pretty much every drugstore I've ever been to but I always seem to overlook them unless they are in an LE display. These 3 are all perm shades and one of them is especially gorgeous, I can't believe it never grabbed me enough to get sooner.
Check out more photos and reviews of each shade after the jump!
Coral Crush is a pink leaning coral. I really enjoy the finish of this, it goes on nice and opaque like a creme but looks a bit squishy like a jelly. The formula was great, it wasn't streaky or patchy. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in the sun.
Navy Narcissist is a navy blue shimmer. Love this, I don't think anyone would be too shocked by that! This isn't quite as bright as some similar shades I own like OPI Swimsuit Nailed It. The formula was pretty much perfect, it wasn't streaky and was a little on the thick and creamy side...very easy to apply. I used 1 coat for the photos below! Both photos are in the sun.
Wine & Dined is a vampy purple brown shimmer. This is the one that I can't believe I passed up so many time. It's an interesting shade, it's kind of a plummy brown with a bit of a golden shimmer, hard to describe. Formula wise it was on the sheer side but it built easily and was opaque in 3 coats. The first 2 photos are in the sun and the 3rd is in the shade.
Maybelline Color Show polishes are available at most drugstores along with places like Target & Walmart!

ReplyDeleteI like 'Blowout Blue'...u should try it. Its a metallic but like a sky blue metallic..very nice.
ReplyDeleteAll these shades are really nice! I usually overlook drug store polishes too, but maybe I'll have to check these out - I like all of them!
ReplyDelete:) I love Maybelline CS! I was excited when they put out a polish line. My favorite is Downtown Brown, which was LE. Although I am pretty certain Wined and Dined is LE too - I can't find it anywhere, even on Ebay.
ReplyDeleteweird, I'm pretty sure it's core. It's on the Maybelline website as a core color!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOD I LOVE THESE SO MUCH!!! Literally, every time I go shopping I pick up a color show polish, I can't stop myself, lol!
ReplyDeleteDowntown Brown is stunning, one if my all-time favorites as well!
ReplyDeletewined and dined is one of my favourite shades by them :D i have never seen coral crush before but will definitely be picking it up :D
ReplyDeleteCoral is just such a goreous color!
ReplyDeleteDid you have any trouble with the brush or bottle cap? Every Color Show I have purchased has had a wonky brush or problems with the cap (breaking or the brush falling out) which is too bad because they have some colors that I love.
ReplyDeletenope, I didn't have that issue with any of these or the other Color Show polishes I tried in the past. I always hate when that happens though
ReplyDeleteI have Bold Gold from this collection and it's wonderfully smooth, practically non-streaky (surprising for metallic)
ReplyDeleteI love that coral! I'll have to pick it up the next time I see it!
ReplyDeleteI need to try these! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI just love all of these! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHow would you compare coral crush to coral glow? I wanted crush but I picked up glow thinking it was crush. They look very close to me when looking at swatches online. Do you have both? If so, what do you think? Is it worth buying both? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't have coral glow, sorry!
