Zoya Summer 2013 Irresistible Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have some of Zoya's Summer 2013 goodies to share with you! Zoya recently released a whole bunch of new polishes including shimmer, cremes and new PixieDust shades! I'll have swatches of everything up eventually and I'm starting off today with the Irresistible Collection which is 6 new foil like shimmers! I'm always a big fan of what Zoya gives us each Summer, especially the shimmery shades like this! Check out swatches of each polish by clicking the read more button under the collage!

As always, if there are any comparisons you would like to see please let me know in the comments!

Amy is a super saturated red orange with a golden shimmer. This pull a little more orange than it looks in my sun photos but it's a very obvious red/orange. The formula was great, I loved the consistency of the polish and the opacity was great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Bobbi is a magenta foil. There is a bit of silver, orange and gold shimmer running throughout this that you can see a little bit in the shade but more obvious in my photo than it is in person. The formula was great on this polish, it was a tiny bit on the thick side but very easy to apply and super opaque. You could easily get away with 1 coat! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Hazel is an icy blue metallic shimmer with bits of gold shimmer mixed in. This reminds me a lot of Zoya Crystal from a couple years back, I haven't put them side by side yet but if you like one you'll definitely like the other. The formula was a little thick but application was easy and the opacity was really great. My only issue was this was that it didn't seem to want to dry on me but that could just be a top coat issue since Zoya doesn't always play well with everything. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Kerry is a yellow gold foil like shimmer. This is a bit brighter and more yellow in person, it's wanting to look a bit more gold in photos than it was in real life for some reason. I usually don't go for shades like this but since it's pull more yellow and less gold on me I like it! The formula was good but it was on the sheer side. I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Rikki is a fern green metallic foil like shimmer with bits of gold shimmer mixed in. For me this is like the green version of Zoya Fei Fei, I think it's the chunky bits of gold shimmer that are reminding me of that polish. I really like this one! The formula was great, as was the opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Tinsley is a rosy pink with a very strong golden shimmer. This is a favorite in the collection for me because of how completely different it looks depending on your lighting. Out in the sun it glows and then in the shade it morphs into a more orangey looking shade that is gorgeous! The formula was good but also on the sheer side though it built easily. I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Overall I like this collection, Zoya always does really nice shimmers and foils and these are no exception. My picks are Rikki andTinsley!

The Irresistible Collection from Zoya is available at Zoya.com now for $8 a bottle!

  14. Gorgeous! I'd like to see Tinsley against Tiffany, Faye and Rica. I also originally looking at the promotional images that Happi would be one to look ta, and even though they're very different finishes I'd like to see how the color compares.
