Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Favorites!

Hi guys, hope you all had a good weekend. Guess what today is? Today is my 3 year blogging birthday yay!! I can't believe i've been at this for 3 years already! I'm planning a little something special for it that I'll be posting soon, hopefully!

Today I have a fun post for you, I've teamed up with Jesse's Girl Cosmetics to create a special until 4/22/13 for 6 of my favorite polishes from them at a special discounted price!  I really love the polishes that Jesses Girl puts out, including their JulieG branded line so a bunch of those are included in this also!

Until 4/22/13 you will be able to buy all 6 of these polishes for $20.01 from the Jesse's Girl website here. Shipping is free (US Only) since it's over their $20 limit and they ship internationally! You can also pick up each polish individually for $3.34 each if you aren't interested in all 6. Check out swatches of all 6 polishes included in the special after the jump!

Spring Break is a light but bright purple creme. I love this polish because it's almost a pastel but it's bright! It's a great summer color and a great shade for layering glitters over. The formula is good, a little sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Secret Treasure is various sizes of fuchsia glitter in a clear base. This is a bit of a chameleon, over some shades (like Holla-Peno) Secret Treasure looks very pink and over others, like Spring Break, it leans very much towards purple. This goes beautifully over so many different base polishes!  The formula is great, good glitter payoff and it's not thick at all. I used 1 coat over Spring Break for the photos below.

Cabana Boy is a bright blue creme. I don't think anyone will be shocked that I love this, I have such a weakness for these types of blues. Cabana Boy is a bit brighter than Sally Hansen Pacific Blue but not as bright as Nails Inc Baker Street. The formula was great, very creamy and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Holla-Peno is a dusty green creme. You know I couldn't not include a green! When the new JulieG shades came out this was one that immediately caught my eye when my Rite Aid got their stock in. The formula of this polish is great, the consistency is nice and creamy and application is a breeze! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Cleopatra's Cobra is a mix of various sizes of gold glitter. Some of the gold glitter pieces in this are also holographic which is hard to capture in photographs. I picked this polish because it's so versatile and it's great for layering over so many different base colors. The formula was good, a little thick but easy to apply and the glitter payoff is great. I used 1 coat over Holla Peno for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Sharks Cove is a light minty green that leans a little bit blue with a soft silver shimmer running throughout. This is a bit reminiscent of China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On but it's darker and more blue toned....if you liked that China Glaze you'll like this also! The formula was good, a little on the thick side but easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Jesse's Girl and JulieG polishes are available at Rite Aid and online at Jessesgirlcosmetics.com. This deal is online only and can be found by clicking here!

Disclosure: All polishes in this post were purchased by me, I don't make anything if you guys take advantage of the special. I love Jesse's Girl Cosmetics and it was great working with them to put this together for you guys!
