wHet Nail Lacquer Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have a few polishes from a new to me brand called wHet to share with you. This brand is cruelty free, 3 free and vegan...gotta love that! For me wHet is also a local brand since they are based out of Los Angeles. I hadn't heard of this brand before so I was pretty excited to give them a try! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

All photos in this post are in natural sunlight which the exception of one which is in the shade and will be labelled as such!

Facetious is bright cobalt blue. This is my favorite of the bunch, I'm sure that surprises no one. I cannot get enough of these types of blues! This is very similar to my favorite, Nails Inc Baker Street, it's not an exact dupe since it's a touch darker but it's very close! The formula was good, it went on really nicely and the consistency was great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Hubris is a pink toned pink creme. This is actually a pretty good dupe of the Alessandro polish I posted yesterday! The formula was good, it was a little bit on the thick side...but the creamy kind of thick that I like with creme polishes! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Machiavellian is a bronzy brown shimmer. I'm a bit on the fence with this, it's a bit too frosty for me to love but the shimmer out in the sun has a bit of a holographic look to it which I really like. This was better in person than it is in photos, it's looking more frosty than it was in real life. The formula wasn't my favorite, I found it to be a bit thick...I had to thin it in order to do a second coat of polish. After thinning it was great though! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Nefarious is a dark dusty blue. This is a bit of a crelly! It went on nice and opaque like a creme but it has a bit of a squish to it like a jelly. I really love polishes like this and the color is gorgeous! The formula was great, really nice consistency and easy to apply1 I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Voluptuous is a dark pink with a fuchsia shimmer! I have a feeling that I'll be wearing this on my toes a lot this summer! The formula was really nice, very easy to apply and very opaque! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Below are a few photos of the packaging these come in, I really love it!

Each of the polish names is on a label with the definition, it's on both the box and the bottom of the bottle.

Another nice detail is the name of the brand on the bottle cap!

wHet Nail Lacquers are available at whetnails.com, each polish retails for $15.

  4. Nefarious reminds me A LOT of Khloé Had A Little Lam-Lam.

Also quick question! How do you avoid bubbles coming to the surface of the nail polish once you're done??

  8. I'm so glad that I have you to tell me about a formula problem, I accidentally bought a polish without looking on your site. Never again, if you are having difficulties then I'm not buying!
