Dermelect Swatches- Phenom, Stunner & Vivacious

Hi guys, hope you're all having a good weekend so far! Today I have 3 new Dermelect polishes to share with you. These 3 polishes are part of a 12 piece collection that Dermelect released back in April! If you've never heard of Dermelect before what makes their polish different from others is that they are infused with ProSina which is a pure protein peptide. I talked a bit about it last time I swatched a few of these polishes, you can check that post out here!

Check out more photos and reviews of each shade by clicking the read more button below.

Phenom is a blue creme. I love blues like this, they are dark but not so dark that they look black. The formula was really great, it had a nice creamy consistency and was easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Stunner is a coppery/brown shimmer. This is a bit more on the frosty side than I expected it to be but I did enjoy this in lower lighting since the brush strokes weren't so apparent. The formula was good but it does dry with brush strokes. I used 2 coats for the photos below, the first 2 photos are in natural sunlight and the 3rd is in the shade.

Vivacious is a green leaning teal. This is my favorite of the bunch, it's such a pretty green with just enough blue undertones. I also really love the dusty quality to it. The formula was good, it was a tiny bit patchy on the first coat but the second coat made it perfect. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Dermelect polishes are available http://www.dermelect.com/ each polish retails for $14!

  1. Great swatches! The protein component makes them at least look worthy, but the shades are not really stand out, unfortunately...

  2. Nice swatches! I wonder how Stunner would look with a matte top coat? I dislike the frosty brushstroke look.

  5. It's a shame the copper one is so brushstrokey because it's a lovely colour!

  6. I like the blue and the teal, but would not purchase them as they don't look to unique to me.

  7. Vivacious looks like a nice dupe of Misa's Dirty Sexy Money.

  8. Vivacious looks quite similar to China Glaze Exotic Encounters! (Safari Collection)
