Zoya Summer 2013 PixieDust Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the Summer 2013 PixieDust polishes from Zoya to share with you! I am so so excited about these! I loved the original PixieDust polishes and was hoping Zoya would give us brighter colors and they did! These 6 new shades are all vibrant brights perfect for Spring & Summer. Check out the swatches after the jump!

Each polish in this post was consistent formula wise, they are a little bit on the thick side by very easy to apply. Just like with the first round of PixieDust polishes these are nice and long wearing, I wore Stevie for 5 days without top coat and had no chipping! Dry time isn't too bad on these, I allowed them each to dry for 45 minutes before I took photos, they were dry to the touch long before that though. Each swatch is 2 coats for polish, for the top coat photos I used a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food followed by a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top. All photos in this post are in direct sunlight.

Beatrix is a tangerine orange. The sparkly bits in this are golden and so much better than they look in photos!

Destiny is a coral base with golden glitter. This is not as red as it looks in my photos but it is a red leaning coral.

Liberty is a beautiful bright blue. This is my favorite of the collection, what can I say...I love a good blue polish! I did have a little bit of staining with this so it's probably best to use a couple coats of base coat and be careful when removing it so you don't get smurf fingers!

Miranda is a rosy medium pink. This one had a very jelly-ish base that I really liked!

Solange is a yellow/gold. In person this is a bit more yellow and less gold, especially when I added top coat!

Stevie is a light lilac purple. This is another favorite from the collection, like I mentioned earlier I wore it for an entire work week and loved it the whole time!

Overall I really love this collection, I was expecting to though haha! I think all 6 colors are beautiful but my personal favorites are Liberty, Stevie and Solange!

Zoya's Summer 2013 PixieDust shades are available now at Zoya.com, each polish retails for $9.

  2. Have you tried any of the JulieG Frosted Gumdrops collection? I'd like to see how Zoya Beatrix compares to JulieG Tangerine Dream.
