Zoya Summer 2013 Stunning Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the 2nd half of Zoya's Summer 2013 Collection, the Stunning Collection! If you missed my swatches of the Irresistible half of the collection you can check them out here. The Stunning half of the collection is the "creme" half, I put creme in quotes because Zoya is calling them cremes but 4 out of the 6 have a very subtle shimmer in them.

Check out my swatches & reviews by clicking the read more button below!

All photos in this post are taken in natural sunlight.

Darcy is a bright yellow. There is a slight shimmer in this, it's not super visible on the nail but when the light hits it right you can see it a tiny bit. The formula was good for a yellow, it was a nice consistency and not overly streaky. I used 3 coats to even it out completely.

Josie is a medium green creme. I really like this shade, it's bright but still somewhat toned done looking...if that makes any sense. The formula was really great, application was easy and I had no issues with it. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Micky is a coral pink with a slight shimmer. The shimmer in this is a bit more noticeable than it waas in Darcy but it's only really visible on the nail in bright light or out in the sun at the right angle. The formula on Micky was a little thick and uneven while applying, I think thinner would probably fix that for next time I wear this one. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Rocky is a dusty medium blue creme. There is no shimmer in this one. This is a bit like Josie, bright but still somewhat toned down. I really love this color! The formula was really nice, it was easy to apply and I had no issues with it. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Thandie is an orange with a subtle shimmer. This is my favorite of the collection, it's not a bright as a lot of the oranges we see for Spring/Summer. I love the dustyness to it, it looks a bit softer in person than it photographs. The formula was great, the consistency was perfect and application was a breeze. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Yana is a geranium pink according to Zoya! There is a subtle shimmer in this shade also. This is probably not the most unique color ever but the formula was just perfection. It was one of those polishes that just feel like it practically applies itself! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Overall I really like this half of Zoya's Summer offerings. The colors are great for Summer and a couple are unexpected. Rocky, Josie and Thandie are my favorites!

The Stunning Collection is available now at Zoya.com for $8 a bottle!

Zoya Pippa is great for a bright yellow, for pastels I like piCture pOlish mellow yellow and Jessica Banana Peel!

  10. Would you do a comparison of Josie with Essie First Timer and Mojito Madness? I really like that sort of spring-y, grass green shade but am curious about how they stack up.

  11. Hmm, I'm considering Darcy. I want a good, strong bright yellow creme with no shimmer/glitter/sheerness/etc. The one I have from Ulta brand likes to stain my nails and make it look like I have jaundice. Should I splurge on Darcy, or is there a better yellow on the market?

  12. I actually prefer Zoya Pippa to Darcy, the formula is a little better. I've never had staining with it!

  13. Maybe it's just me, but I think this collection is a bit boring. ><

  14. How does Rocky compare to Essie's In The Cabana?

  15. Can you compare A Definite Moust-Have by OPI to Zoya Yana? They look almost identical

  16. I agree , I always look forward to the purple in each collection the most so it's always a disappointment to me when they skip out on the purples :(
