Nicole by OPI Gumdrops Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have another collection of textured polishes to share with you, these 6 are from Nicole by OPI and are called the Gumdrops collection! I'm excited to finally post these, I've had them for a little while but just haven't had time to swatch them! I really like this collection from Nicole by OPI, there are a couple in here that have moved to the top of my "favorite textures" list!

Check out swatches & reviews of each shade by clicking the read more button below.

Formula wise these were all good, most were a little bit thick but I find that it helps with application. There were also a couple that were a little sheer but these were all 2-3 coaters, I will let you know with each polish below how many coats were used. For the top coat photos I used a combo of Nail Pattern Boldness and KBShimmer Clearly On Top. Most photos in this post are in natural sunlight, there are a few in the shade and they are labeled saying they are in the shade :)

I will be posting comparisons of all the textures soon :)

A-Nise Treat is a black base with silver sparkle. I feel like we have seen this color before but I still like it, I love how the black and silver looks when it's matte! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Blue-Berry Sweet On You is a shimmery blue texture. This leans a little bit towards being a periwinkle type of blue, very pretty! I like the fine texture of this one, it reminds me a lot of the PixieDust polishes! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Candy Is Dandy is a pink texture, this has a lot of big pieces of holographic glitter in it. They aren't showing up very well in photos but they are beautiful in person! This one was a little bit on the sheer side, I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Cinna-man Of My Dreams is made up of a ton of different colored fine glitter but overall looks like a reddish-brown on the nail. This is definitely one of my favorites, I love how complex it looks because of all the different colors. This looks pretty phenomenal matte but I love it even more with top coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

I Lilac Gumdrops is a lilac purple base with silver flakes of glitter and a really pretty violet shimmer. If you liked Zoya Stevie you will love this one, it's kinda like Stevie on steroids lol! This was a bit on the sheer side, I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Lighting: Shade

My Cherry Amour is a beautiful magenta packed with holographic sparkle. This is my favorite of the collection and overall one of my favorite texture polishes that any company has put out as of right now. The holographic shimmer/glitter is beautiful when this is matte but then when you put top coat over it, it's just wow! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: shade

Overall I really like this collection Cinna-man Of My Dreams and My Cherry Amour are definete must haves for me!

These are pretty but what's with companies calling these polishes 'Gumdrops'? Didn't Julie G just have out some of these named Frosted Gumdrops? Sheesh, you think the cosmetic companies would come out with some original monikers for them! :(

BTW Jen, did you just do a blog of these Julie G polishes? I was trying to find your reviews for them on here and couldn't. :(

  18. I love the swatches. I always stand in the store and look at your pictures before I decide to buy polish. I've already found these at my local walmart on clearance for $3.50 which I found weird because they haven't been out long

I have Zoya's pixiedust in Miranda from earlier this year. I found Candy is Dandy half off at Ulta yesterday, so of course I bought it! Anyways once I got home I noticed that they are pretty much the same in the bottle. Is it worth having both? What's the difference? Any thoughts" Thanks!
