Dance Legend Sun Shine Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes from the Dance Legend Sun Shine Collection to share with you. These should be up on their site soon so I'm not sure how many more there are other than what I'm showing you today. The Sun Shine Collection is made up of polishes that dramatically change colors with the sun, these are UV changing polishes...not ones that change with body heat. All 3 of the polishes I have today are glitter packed and the change is crazy! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Formula wise all three were the same, the consistency was a little bit on the thick side due to the amount of glitter in each of these. I didn't have any issues with application though. These were sheer so I used 3 coats for full opacity for each of them. These swatches are with top coat, as long as you aren't using a top coat that blocks UV they shouldn't have a problem changing colors.

193 is a milky pink base with various sizes of red glitter. This is how 193 will look if you are indoors or in a shady spot.

Below is 193 in the sun, the base turns to a really vivid red toned purple. This change is fast and super dramatic!

194 is a milky off white base with multicolored glitter in various sizes. Below is how it looks indoors and in the shade.

Below is 194 out in the sun, the base turns to a very red toned purple. It's a bit more of a reddish purple than 193 was.

195 is a tan-ish off white milky base with gold glitter in various sizes. This is my favorite of the 3, I love that gold glitter!

Below is 195 in the sun, the base turns to a dark purple. This one has the darkest purple in the sun out of these 3.

Overall I really like these polishes, I love how dramatic the change is. I am totally guilty of wearing 195 for a couple days and continually walking in and outside of my house to watch it change (I am easily entertained).

These are not available on the Dance Legend website when I looked last night but from what I understand they will be available soon.

  5. These are AMAZING! I've had a few color changing polishes but the change was super subtle and I had to run my hands under cold water to make it happen. These look incredible!

  6. I'm pretty sure I would just wave my hand in and out of the sun to watch the polish change. I'm 3 years old.

  8. Meh. I think they've gorgeous in the shade , especially 193 & 195. But I'm not crazy about the fact that they all turn purple. Especially the reddish purples - not a fan of that color. I wouldn't go out of my way for any of them.

  12. I have just bought 195 and the colur shift is incredible. but I had a problem with it not drying hard. The edges kept wrinking up to a day later. by the end of day two I had to remove it as it looked awful.

  13. That's weird! I would try it with a different top coat and see if that makes a difference
