Saturday Spam: Different Dimension

Hi guys! Today I have a bit of Different Dimension spam for you guys! There is a little bit of everything in here, glitter...holos etc. I died a little bit when I opened the package of these polishes due to the amount of circle glitter in here haha! Check out all the photos after the jump!

Another Brick In The Wall is pink, silver, black and white glitter in a clear base. There are all shapes and sizes of glitter in here, everything from big hex glitter to rectangles. The formula was a little thick but easy to apply and the glitter payoff was great. I used 1 coat over OPI Blue It Out Of Proportion for the photos below.

Black Dahlia is a black scattered holo with iridescent bits of glitter mixed in. I really like this one, it's a nice twist on a normal scattered holo, pictures don't do it much justice. The formula was good, a little on the thick side but easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Comfortably Numb is various sizes & shapes of hot pink and yellow glitter in a clear base. The formula was a little bit thick but again, easy to apply and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Sation Of Corset I'll Call You, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Excelsior! is a light grey linear holo. The holo in this was on the subtle side due to how light the color is but man, it is pretty! The formula was good, much more opaque than I thought it was going to be. I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Hey You is a milky lilac base with various sizes & shapes of pink and purple glitter. The formula was good, I would recommend waiting a couple minutes between coats though so you don't drag the glitter off. I used 3 coats for full opacity, both photos below are in natural sunlight.

Imitation Is The Most Sincere Form Of Flattery is a glow in the dark top coat packed with silver and holographic glitter. FAIL JEN because I didn't realize this was glow in the dark until typing this right now. Expect another post on this soon so you can actually see it being all glowly. I used 1 coat over Sation Plenty of Frogs for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Money is a milky white base with neon green and yellow glitter along with blue and black circle glitter. This is one of my favorites of the post, I like the unusual glitter combo! The formula was good, this is another that needs a few minutes between coats so it doesn't drab. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Orion Nebula is a black jelly base with various sizes of pink circle glitter. I really like this combo but the glitter was a bit sinky in this and I found it a little difficult to get out of the bottle and onto the nail. I put the bottle upside down for about 10 minutes before applying and it didn't seem to help much. I used 2 coats over Nails Inc Black Taxi for the photos below.

Reach For The Sk is a yellow jelly base with yellow and red glitter in various sizes and shapes mixed in. This was a bit on the sheer side but it was easy to build up, I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Squarey Hexy  is a multicolored mix of hex and square glitter. The formula was good, a little thick but the glitter payoff was great. I used 1 coat over Sation You're My Lacquer Charm for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Stronger is a light blue scattered holo with a really pretty purple flash to it. The purple flash was impossible to get my camera to pick up but it was obvious in person, especially indoors. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat but opaque with 2 coats. All photos below are in natural sunlight.

Time  is a mix of black, white and purple holographic glitter in all kinds of shapes and sizes in a clear base. This is another favorite for me, there is SO much going on in here...circles, stars, diamonds etc... I think there are also hearts in here but I didn't get any on my nails. The formula was good, the big circle glitter was a little elusive so you might need to fish it out a bit. I used 1 coat over Barielle Straight A Coral for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

To Infinity And Beyond is green, purple and white glitter in a clear base. Perfect color for the name, Buzz LIghtyear would definitely approve. I think this also glows in the dark but again, bit fail on my part didn't realize that until right now. I will re-swatch this one also! The formula was good, it was a little on the thick side but very glitter dense and easy to apply. I used 1 coat over CK One Polyester for the photos below.

Wide Awake is a light pink scattered holo with a hot pink flash. Just like with Stronger the flash is impossible to capture in photos but more apparent in person. The formula was good, a bit sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for full opacity all photos below are in natural sunlight.

Wish You Were Here is pink, blue and silver glitter in various sizes & shapes in a clear base. I love the circle glitter in this one! The formula was good, I did find it easiest to dab this one on so the coverage was more even. I used 1 coat over OPI Pink Outside The Box for the photo below, photo is in the shade.

Different Dimension polish can be found on etsy here. Prices range from $8.50 to $11 depending on the finish of the polish.

  3. I just got Wish You Were Here and I love it! I was surprised that it was packed with so many large circles. Normally you have to fish for large glitters, but it was really easy to get them out.

  4. These are neat! I am loving all the Pink Floyd references... Sometimes I buy polish just because of the name which is kinda stupid but I don't care. Definitely want all the Pink Floyd ones and probably the glow in the dark topcoat, that looks different. Thanks for the great swatches, Jen! :D

  10. I love Comfortably Numb. Hot pink & yellow glitter always remind me of strawberry lemonade! It's very similar to Hay Girl- Cupcake
Orion Nebulae makes me think of Emily De Molly Cosmic Forces that everyone goes nuts over. It's those big, oversized glitter - they look like planets! Darling Diva has a similar one too - it's Call The Doctor. At first I disliked the big glitter, but now I'm itching to try it!
My fave is is Hey You. I love a good crelly I like Money, but I don't like the large black glitter. It looks awkward.
