Saturday Spam: Random Swatch Spam!

Hi guys! Today I have a Saturday Spam post for you, it's been a while since I've done one of these! Today's spam isn't anything in particular, mostly polishes I've worn and just never gotten around to blogging about or things I took photos of and put in the "edit" folder and forgot about haha! I had a bit of a computer melt down a week or so ago and found these in an edit file on one of the bajillion flash drives I have, I realized I had never posted them so I thought I'd finally share!

Click the read more button below for all the spam!!

Where to buy for each brand will be at the end of the post, as usual!

China Glaze Ahoy is a really gorgeous magenta/pink with a pretty shimmer. This came out a while back and I have no idea why I had never worn it until recently, I think I've only ever used it for comparisions! The formula is good on it from what I remember I had no issues, I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Dandy Nails Bound To Fall is a grey base with black and blue flecks of shimmer. This polish is really interesting, I don't think I have anything quite like it. I really like the shimmer in this, it almost has a bit of a fuzzy look to it. The formula was good but a little bit on the sheer side, I used 3 coats for full opacity. All photos below are in natural sunlight.

Daring Digits Copperline is various sizes of copper glitter in a clear base. I love me a good copper glitter which is why I picked this one up...it didn't disappoint! The formula and glitter payoff were both great! I used 1 coat over my base color, which I cannot seem to remember the name of and apparently didn't write down :(

Deborah Lippmann Don't Tell Mama is a blackened base with blue/green shimmer. The shimmer is visible in this but in most lighting it does just look black. When the sun hits it right it's beautiful. The formula was ok, a bit thinner than I personally like. I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Elevation Polish Haba Xueshan is black, white and light blue glitter in various sizes & shapes in a clear base. I couldn't resist this because of the circle glitter, I also like the light blue glitter in here. The formula was good but I do wish there was a touch more light blue glitter in here! I used 1 coat over Dermelect Phenom and a random pink polish that I can't remember the name of (lol sorry guys, I get an F in writing things down for this post) for the photos below.

Elevation Polish Huangshan is neon yellow glitter in a slightly yellow tinted base. I got this because I really don't have anything like it. I didn't end up  liking it as much as I thought I would but I think it;'s because I just haven't found the right base color for it yet. The formula was a bit thick but the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Dermelect Vivacious for the photos below.

Essie Chubby Cheeks is a red/orange creme. I *think* I picked this up back in January at ISSE because I needed a 6th polish to get some kind of discount and I liked the name of this. How's that for justifying a purchase...good name...SOLD haha! The formula was alright, a bit more watery than I prefer but the opacity was good, I used 2 coats for the photos below. In person this leaned a touch more orange. All photos below are in natural sunlight.

Illamasqua Scorch is a white creme. I've heard so many good things about this white that it had been on my list to try but I could never justify the price tag for a color I literally have like 15 bottles of (at least). However, I found this on sale at JCPenny Sephora for like $5 and decided for that price I couldn't pass it up anymore. I'm always looking for good whites because they are hard to come by. The formula of this one was good, it was a little thick but not overly streaky. I used 2 coats for the photos below. I do like this white but I don't think it's worth the Illamasqua price tag.

Jindie Nails Live Out Loud is multicolored small circle glitter in a milky white base. I think we all know why I bought this...circle glitter. The formula was good on this from what I remember, you could wear it on it's own if you wanted to. I used 2 coats over Seche Porcelain II for the photos below....both photos are in natural sunlight.

Revlon Cool Beige is a beige creme. I got this because I thought it would look good with my skin tone...I was wrong but it's still a nice polish. The formula was good, I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Seche Casually Cool is a light blue with a very subtle blue/purple shimmer The shimmer doesn't seem to translate onto the nail though. The formula was full of win, seriously...it was great. I used 1 coat (yeah) for the photos below.

Seche Dainty Decadence is a creamy light pink. Not the most original color but it's pretty and the formula was good. It was a little on the thick side but application was easy, it wasn't streaky and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Seche Empress is a dark vampy purple. This is purple but most of the time it just looks black. The formula was good, it was very opaque and nearly a 1 coater but I needed 2 coats to cover up a few patchy spots. The photos below is in natural sunlight.

Seche May Be Modest is a yellowy green with a subtle green shimmer. The shimmer in this one is pretty much only in the bottle :( The formula was great, it was a little thick but easy to apply and super opaque. This was nearly a 1 coater, I used 2 coats for full opacity.

Seche Porcelain II is a white creme. I picked this up a while back at ISSE, I had been so impressed with the formula of the Seche polishes that I figured the white would be good. The formula is good, not my favorite white ever (OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls is in case you're wondering) but it's one I'd grab for again. The formula was good, a little streaky on the first coat but completely opaque and perfect with the second coat. Both photos below are in natural sunlight.

Seche Simple Yet Significant is a light yellow toned beige, kind of like a khaki color. There was a touch of shimmer in this and while you can see it a little bit in the photos it was pretty much invisible in person. The formula was a little thick but super opaque and easy to apply, I used 1 coat for the photos below.

Seche Takes Chances is a purple creme. There is a bit of a dusty quality that I like. Mostly I like this because the formula is all kinds of awesome which means it will be good for layering over. I used 1 coat for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight

Seche Timeless Style is a very pink toned beige. This is the kind of mannequin hands polish that looks best on me, I really like this on my skin tone. There was a pink/gold shimmer in the bottle but it didn't translate onto the nail. The formula was good, a little thick but easy to apply. The opacity was great and it wasn't streaky. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Topshop Awol is a cobalt blue creme. It's a touch lighter than my love, Nails Inc Baker Street, I'd say it's pretty close to Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. The formula was good, I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in the shade.

Topshop Mercury Rising is black and iridescent glitter in a clear base. The formula on this was THICK like whoa, I had to dump a lot of thinner into it to even make it useable. I do like it now though! I used 1 coat over Nicole by OPI Challenge Red-y for the photos below.
