Lac Attack Summer 2013 Beach Daze Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the Summer Collection from Lac Attack to share with you, this collection is called Beach Daze and it's 6 brand new polishes, there is a little bit of everything in here from fun glitters to a holo and even a glow in the dark polish. The Beach Daze Collection will be available starting on Friday, you can check out the Lac Attack facebook for more info on that as Anastasia posts about the sale time etc...

Check out swatches & reviews of each shade by clicking the read more button below.

Endless Summer is a multicolored glitter bomb. I really like the mix of matte glitter and the colors in here. The formula was great, it was super glitter dense and easy to apply using a dabbing method. I used 1 coat over Sunset In Paradise for the photos below.

Fireworks At Midnight is various sizes and shapes of neon glitter in a clear base that glows in the dark. The base looks a bit murky in the bottle but it goes on clear, the murky-ness comes from the glow in the dark pigment. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and it was easy to apply with good glitter coverage. I used 1 coat over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the photos below, I also used a top coat which did not effect the glow in the dark pigment.

below is Fireworks at Midnight in all it's glowly glory. Man, glow in the dark photos are HARD to take. This was the best I could get after like 100 photos and running between the sun and the hot as heck dark garage haha!

Magic Below The Water is blue and green glitter in a blue jelly base. I love glitters like this, they always look like they have so much depth to them. You can wear this on it's own but I decided to layer it, I tried this out on paper and really liked how this combo looked. I used 1 coat over Nicole by OPI Blue Neon for the photos below.

Sand Goddess is a multicolored fine matte glitter bomb. Polishes like this are what started my indie obsession. I don't think I will ever tire of these types of glitters! The formula was good, it was a little thick but that is due to the amount of glitter in here. Application was easy, no dabbing necessary for this one. I used 1 coat over Nicole by OPI Purple Neon for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Sunset In Paradise is a dusty purple with a subtle holo. The holo in this was on the subtle side but more noticeable in person than my photos look. The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and so easy to apply. This could have easily been a 1 coater but I ended up going with 2 coats out of habit. The photos below are in natural sunlight.

Surfing The Sun is a pinky coral base with a strong shimmer and gold and purple glitter of various sizes. The formula was good, much more opaque than I expected it to be! I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Overall I really like this collection, my personal favorites are Sand Goddess, Fireworks at Midnight and Sunset In Paradise but they are all very pretty! The Beach Daze Collection will be available at http://www.lacattack.com/ starting on Friday. For more info about re-stock times check out Lac Attack on Facebook and Twitter.

  4. Fireworks at Midnight! I was thinking about glow in the dark nail polish the other day and how it's sort of been overlooked for a while now. Reminds me of being, like, 9.

  8. I love Sunset In Paradise but... isn't it the dupe of Catrice 'Dirty Berry'?

  10. Eek, I love Fireworks at Midnight! Unfortunately, it sold out before I could snag it (darned work hours), but I was able to get Felix Felicis and Kiss Me. Thanks for the awesome post, hadn't heard of Lac Attack until I read this!
