Contrary Polish Color Context Trio Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have a beautiful new trio from Contrary Polish called the Color Context Trio to share with you! This trio brings us 3 more beautiful shimmers, I seriously LOVE what Carrie does with her shimmers. I'm a huge shimmer fan and I love when indies make them because they are usually beautiful combos I feel like I'm missing from main stream brands. These definitely didn't disappoint me at all, I think you guys will like this also1 Check out the swatches after the jump!

Blood Orange is a red base with a strong golden shimmer. The shimmer was nice and visible out in the sun and it gave the polish really nice depth in lower lighting. The formula was good, it was a bit sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with the 2nd coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Greenhouse is a teal blue base with a gorgeous green shimmer. This is my favorite of the trio and easily one of the favorite Contrary Polish shades as of right now! All I can say is DAT SHIMMAH!  The formula was really nice, a bit sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with 2 coats. The first 2 photos below are in natural sunlight, the 3rd is in the shade.

Indigo Rose is a navy blue base with red-orange shimmer. Overall this looks purple in the nail and in the bottle. I didn't realize it had a navy base until I started applying it, I love nice surprises like that. The formula was good, a bit sheer on the first coat but opaque with 2 coats. Both photos below are in natural sunlight.

The Color Context Trio is available now, you can order direct from Carrie through her blog. You can also pick these up at several etailers including Llarowe, for a full list of etailers check out the Contrary Polish blog
