Different Dimension Halloween 2013 Silenced The Lambs Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today I have the Halloween Collection from Different Dimension to share with you. This collection is called the Silenced The Lambs Collection and it's based off of Silence of the Lambs...I'm sure we've all seen that movie right? That movie traumatized me as a child...I'm pretty sure my parents let me see it when I was WAY to young to be seeing movies like that haha! This collection consists of 4 new polishes, 1 of them is a pretty awesome glow in the dark holo...gotta love that! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Good Evening Clarice... is a pale green holo that glows in the dark! I think this is the first holo I've ever owned that also glows in the dark...I can't even deal with that fact that it's also green. It doesn't get much better than that. The holo in this was a bit stronger in person, it was being shy for my camera :( The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. This was a bit on the sheer side but it builds easily and was completely opaque in 3 coats. It did dry a little dull, my swatches are with top coat. Top coat did not dull the holo or glowing.

Lighting (or lack thereof): Dark Garage lol

Have The Lambs Stopped Screaming? is a glitter topper packed with black, white, yellow and orange glitter of all kinds of shapes and sizes including hearts and stars in a slightly holographic base. The holo is subtle but it's meant to be that way. The formula was good, it was a little thick but very easy to work with and the glitter payoff was great. I didn't have any issues getting any of the special shapes out...no fishing for glitter was needed! I used 1 coat over Cult Nails Temptest for the photos below.

I Ate His Liver With Some Fava Beans And A Nice Chianti is a mix of purple, green and black glitter in different shapes and sizes in a clear base. There is a little dusting of holographic shimmer in the mix too to add a bit of extra sparkle. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was good. I had no issues getting the different shapes out of this one either! I used 1 coat over Good Evening Clarice... for the photos below.

P.S. I think this wins the award for longest polish name in my stash haha!

It Rubs The Lotion On Its Skin is black base packed with orange glitter. This polish dries to a satin matte finish and has a tiny bit of texture...it's pretty smooth on it's own without top coat but you can see/feel it a tiny bit. The formula was good, the black base was a good opacity without covering up the pretty orange glitter. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Here is It Rubs The Lotion On Its Skin with top coat. I love how glowy the orange glitter gets with top coat...I prefer this polish this way! I used KBShimmer Clearly On Top for my top coat!
