Elevation Polish Stones Throw Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have for you the newest Elevation Polish collection called Stones Throw to share with you! This collection was inspired by rocks and gems...along with the colors of fall that Lulu, the wonderful woman behind Elevation Polish, loves! I'm pretty excited about this collection, all 5 polishes are beautiful...they remind me why Fall collections tend to be my favorite. I've actually been pretty "meh" about most of the major brands Fall offerings but the indies are just killing it for this season with polishes like these ones! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Epidote is a gorgeous golden olive green holo. *dies* Have to say...this is my new favorite green holo. The shade of green is totally to die for and right up my alley. The holo effect is stunning (much better in person!), fun fact...there is no spectraflair in this polish...the holo is from cosmetic grade holo pigment. I love that this has such a nice holo without using spectraflair...I didn't even think that was possible. The formula was good, a little thin on the first coat but it was completely opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Limestone is a creamy off-white with gold micro shimmer and gold flake like shimmer. I really like this one, it's an interesting take on white . The shimmer was easily visible in the sun and in lower lighting. The formula was good, it was a little bit on the thick side but I think that actually helped with how it applied. I didn't find this to be streaky at all and the opacity was great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Quartz Monzonite is a glitter topper packed with black, grey an wine hex glitter, square glitter and circle glitter. There is also a touch of neon yellow micro glitter and red shimmer. I love the combo, it's really interesting and it works nicely over a lot of different base colors. The formula was good, it was a little bit thick due to how dense the glitter is but it was easy to apply and the glitter payoff was great. I used 1 coat over Limestone and The Arches II for the photos below.

River Rock is a dark charcoal base with a reddish shimmer. I really like this, I am a big fan of hidden shimmers. The shimmer is pretty hidden, even in direct sunlight, so if you aren't a fan of those this might not be your cup of tea. In the shade and lower lighting this looked almost black. The formula was good, it was a really nice consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

The Arches II is a really interesting red/orange shade. This dries to a satin matte finish and has a tiny bit of texture to it. The texture is very slight, it was pretty much smooth to the touch but you could see it on the nail when the light hit it right...if you don't like the texture a coat of top coat completely gets rid of it! The formula was good, it was almost crelly like with the way it applied. I used 2 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight and without top coat.

Overall I LOVE this collection, Elevation Polish is one of my very favorite indie brands and polishes like these are why. They feel fresh, like something I haven't necessarily seen before...considering how much polish I own that's kind of amazing haha!

The Stones Throw Collection is available now, when I looked last night everything was still in stock on the Elevation Polish website...with the exception of Epidote.  Elevation Polish restocks twice a month, details are available on their website about dates & times for restocks! Polishes retail for $8.50.

You can also find Elevation Polish at Llarowe, but they are a touch more expensive at $10.50 each!
