Precision Summer 2013 Get Loud Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have my last Summer Collection for you :( I'm kinda late with this but better late than never right? Technically it's not fall until Sunday so I think I'm alright haha! Today I have the Get Loud Collection from Precision Nail Lacquer for ya! This is a somewhat new to me brand, it's new to me in the sense that I've never tried it before...but I have seen this brand around for a while in the beauty supply stores that I like to shop at. The Get Loud Collection features 12 neon shades perfect for Summer...or ya know...for whenever you feel like wearing a neon because you don't have to only wear them during summer. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

All of the photos in this post are in natural sunlight!

Electric Daisy is a bright neon yellow. The formula was good, it was a little on the thick side and sheer on the first coat but it built easily and I had no application issues. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is a pink neon. The formula was great, it was nice and opaque and easy to apply! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Got an Idea? is a neon yellow. This is much more of a jelly finish as opposed to Electric Daisy which was more of a creme. This is one I'd layer of white for future since it was fairly sheer on it's own. The formula was good with the exception of the sheer-ness. I liked the consistency and it was easy to apply. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

I'm Berry Shocked is a blue jelly. I was hoping this one would be a bit more opaque but it's also a jelly finish like Got An Idea and it needs undies if you want it to be opaque. The formula was a little on the watery side for what I prefer but I didn't have any application issues. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Kiss Kiss Tang Tang is an orange neon with a jelly finish. This is another that could use some undies but I did like the formula...the consistency was nice and it was easy to apply. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Lime A Dozen is a neon green jelly. This was super bright! It does need some undies though to be completely opaque. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

My Little Peony is a berry jelly. This is a jelly but it builds up to be opaque pretty easily, the formula was good and easy to work with. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Orange She Hot!? is a neon orange. It's a bit darker of an orange when compared to Kiss Kiss Tang Tang. This was also a bit on the sheer side but not as sheer as some of the others in the collection. The formula overall was good, it was easy to work with and the consistency of the polish was good. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Pink-adelic is a bright red. I think this is supposed to be pink but it definitely looks red to me! The formula was good, it was a bit jelly like but it built up to full opacity easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Razzmatazz is a raspberry jelly. This was a bit brighter in person than it's translating in photos. The formula was good, it is a jelly-ish finish but it was easy to build up to be opaque. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Twist N Shout is an orange neon. This is the brightest and most opaque of all the oranges in this collection. I really like this one! The formula was nice and opaque, it was easy to apply and the consistency of the polish was nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Vio-Let Me Rock is a pink neon. This is a nice dark pink but it's still nice and bright. The formula was good, it was a bit of a jelly finish but easy to get opaque on it's own. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

The Get Loud Collection is available now, you can find it at http://www.precisionnaillacquer.com/ for $5.95 a bottle. If you like to buy in person they have a store locator on their website you can use to find them near you!

I just have to say I love the shape of your nails, do you have a specific technique you use to square them off?

  2. I like the bottom half of the swatches here! Sheer jelly just doesn't do it for me. A lot of the colours in the collection look quite similar though. Thanks for the swatches and review! ^^
