Salon Perfect Fall 2013 First Look Fall Polish Forecast Collection: My Picks!

Hi guys! Today I have a few of the polishes from the First Look Fall Polish Forecast Collection from Salon Perfect to share with you! In total there are 11 new polishes and a matte top coat in this collection. In addition the 4 polishes I'm showing I also have the Matte FX top coat to go along with them, I love me a good matte top coat especially over shimmers like the ones in this collection! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

All of the photos in this post are in natural sunlight.

Cafe Ole is a milk chocolate base with a gorgeous golden shimmer. For those of us that love a good brown this is right up our alley. The shimmer was nice and strong though not super visible in lower lighting. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and applied easily! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Ivy League is a blackened green base with green shimmer. The shimmer was nice and strong in this one also! Great formula and opacity as well, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Nautical Nights is a dark shimmery blue. The shimmer was nice and visible in the sun and visible in lower lighting also! The formula was great, it was easy to apply and nice and opaque. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Royal Knight is a blackened purple base with purple shimmer. This was the most vampy of my picks, I love polishes like this for fall! The formula and opacity were great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Matte FX is a matte top coat that was released with this collection. I really like it, it dries to a kind of satin matte finish. I used 1 coat of Matte FX over each of the polishes in this post for the photos below!

The Salon Perfect First Look Fall Polish Forecast Collection is available now, each polish retails for $3.98!

I love these types of colors, did you know all these are dupes for China Glaze colors, I checked your stash to see if you had the dupe colors, the only one you have is Ingrid, dupe to Cafe Ole, but the rest of the dupe names are Gussied Up Green, Rodeo Fanatic and Let's Groove, Thanks for sharing :)

  4. Oh wow! That green shimmer is amazing! I like the satiny finish of that top coat. Too bad this brand isn't available in my country :(.

  5. How does Ivy League compare to China Glaze Tongue & Chic? (I believe they have the same parent company?)

  8. I think my favorite piece of this collection is the matte! Gives all of those swatches a very satiny finish, and takes away all the brush strokes. Beautiful swatches, btw.
