Sation Fall 2013 Miss-terranean Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have another Fall Collection to share with you! This one is from Sation and it's called the Miss-terranean Collection. It's inspired by the rich vivid color palette of Europe's most treasured destinations like Italy, Spain, Paris etc. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Don Wannabe is described by Sation as a Grecian blue. I like how it has a touch of purple undertones that were more apparent in person...it's also a little bit dusty. I clearly love me a nice blue nail polish and this one is quite pretty! The formula was nice, it was a good consistency and very easy to apply. I had no staining with this either. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Happy Wine-y People is a vampy wine creme. If you are a lover of Fall Collections because of the rich dark colors this is one that is right up your alley. The formula was good, it dried really shiny which is always a good thing in my opinion. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Hottie Biscottie is a really pretty beige neutral. If you want a nice light shade like white but don't want something as stark this would be good for you. I really like it, it was flattering on my skin tone and it didn't make me look ghostly so that was nice haha! The formula was good, the consistency was nice and it was easy to work with. It was a bit streaky on the first coat but completely opaque and streak free with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Napolean Dyna-Matte is a crimson red creme. Given the name of this I thought it was going to be matte, but it actually dries quite shiny on it's own. The formula and opacity were both good! I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

I Need A Spumani is described by Sation as a muted pistachio green. I like the dusty-ness to this...if you were looking for a lighter version of Essie's Vested Interest this is it! The formula was good, it was a little thinner than I personally prefer but I had no application issues. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Tira Miss-u is a dusty mauvey pink creme. This is not normally my kind of color but I kind of love it. It was so flattering on, definitely an unexpected favorite for me. The formula was nice and creamy, and the opacity was really nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Now, if you follow me on Twitter you might have seen me going on a couple weeks ago about how Biggens (a squirrel) was photobombing all of my pictures and the camera kept focusing on him instead of my nails. That was happening while I was swatching this collection. A few of you wanted me to include pictures so here you go!

Here is Biggens...or I should say one of the Biggens. There are tons of squirrels in our backyard and it's easier if I just call them all Biggens...this guy is actually pretty small in terms of squirrel size. (lol) He's a nice friendly squirrel, he often watches me run back and forth swatching, sometimes he sits around and eats peanuts I give him...that's what he's doing in the photo below.

Biggens enjoying a delicious peanut...om nom nom
Well...Biggens decided on this day that he wanted to eat his peanuts like directly behind where I like to position my hand to take pictures. Since Biggens is just so darn cute my camera decided it would rather focus on him nomming his peanuts instead of my nails...how rude. There were more pictures like this but I rage deleted them before some of you on twitter said you wanted to see them :(

Try not to be too dazzled by my MS Paint skills on the photo below...I know, I'm kind of amazing.

Y U DO DIS BIGGENS?!?
The Miss-terranean Collection from Sation is available now at beauty supply stores, it will be available on the Sation website on September 9th!

  4. How would you compare Don Wannabe to Nails Inc. Baker Street? Up until seeing this post BS was my favorite blue creme, but wowza is DW pretty!

  6. Lovely collection and really good for fall for those of us who live where there is next to no fall at all - we get our hottest part of the yr in Sept and into Oct always and are not really into fall colors at all until Nov.

  7. Great collection! I think I might try that beige to see if I can sub it for My Vampire Is Buff since I really don't like the formula on that one. And Biggens is hilarious! Love that he is bombing your pics.

  11. Sation is not really available by me, but I do shop on a website that carries them. These look like really pretty solid staple colors. I surprising like the last two - the pistachio and mauve-y pink colors; I'm usually a vampy-blackened-any-color kind of girl in the fall. Swatches are gorgeous, as always.
And LOVE the squirrel. The one you pictured is so damn cute!!
