Girly Bits Fall 2013 Fall Season Premiere Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the Fall 2013 Collection from Girly Bits to share with you, the collection is called Fall Season Premiere and each of the polishes are inspired by Pam's favorite shows! The shows Pam was inspired by are Saturday Night Live, Family Guy and Bones. I was most excited about the Bones inspired polishes, that's one of my favorite shows also! There are some beautiful holos in this collection, I hope you like them as much as I do!

Check out all the swatches by clicking the read more button below!

Bird Is The Word is a light pink toned purple holo. This is inspired by Family Guy! The formula was good, a bit on the sheer side but easy to build. I used 3 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

D!ck In A Box is a charcoal grey holo. This is a bit metallic so the holo was hard to capture in photos, it's stronger in person! I laughed so hard at the name of this when it got to me, then I went and watched the video from the SNL skit this was inspired by more times than I care to admit. The formula was good, a bit sheer but easy to build. I used 3 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Dancing Phalanges is a raspberry pink glass fleck shimmer. This is inspired by Bones! I love this one, it reminds me of Butter London Disco Biscuit so if you've been lemming that I'd pick this up...it's cheaper and I liked the formula much better. The formula of Dancing Phalanges was good, it was a bit sheer at first but opaque in 3 coats.

Lighting: Shade

Giggity Giggity Goo is a champagne holo inspired by Family Guy. I like this one, it's kind of golden/bronzey which is something I feel like I don't have already. The formula was good, I used 3 coats for full opacity but if you're nails are shorter than mine you could probably get away with 2 coats. All photos below are in natural sunlight.

Gravedigger is orange, fuchsia, purple and green glitter in various sizes & shapes in a dark purple jelly base. The base is very dark purple that looks black most of the time. This shade was inspired by Bones! The formula was good, the base was a bit sheer but it built up to full opacity in 3 coats, this would also look good layered over a dark purple or black

Lighting: Shade

King Of The Lab is a pumpkin orange glass fleck shimmer. I love the shimmer in this one, it flashes a bit pink and orange...very pretty. The formula was good, it was a bit sheer at first but it builds easily and was opaque in 3 coats.

Lighting: Shade

More Cowbell is a blue holo. This is also a bit metallic so the holo was hard to capture, it's stronger in person! The formula was good, sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

Well Isn't That Special is a purple holo. This also has bits of white flakies in it but I couldn't capture them on camera :( The formula was good, sheer but buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below, all photos are in natural sunlight.

What The Deuce? is a green holo. Saving my favorite for last :D I can't get enough of all the interesting shades of green holos indie brands have been putting out for fall! The formula was good, it was nice and opaque in 2 coats! All photos below are in natural sunlight.

  1. Love Gravedigger!
Dancing phalanges also reminds me of China Glaze 108 Degrees.

  2. I love this collection!! I'm a huge Bones fan, too, so when I saw Dancing Phalanges (which is also the name of my blog), I had to order it. It came yesterday and I put it on right away. It's just gorgeous!!

  5. This is a gorgeous collection! I'm kind of biased towards Gravedigger because right away, it made me think of Bones, so that's cool that it's inspired by it. I love that show. I love What The Deuce? too. I love how bright it is.
