piCture pOlish New Collaboration Shades: Siren Song, Geode, Douceur & Imperial

Hi guys! Today I have 4 of the 5 new collaboration shades from piCture pOlish to share with you! These were released a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't wait for them to show up at my house. I always love the collaboration shades, it's fun to read the posts of the girls who created the shades plus I usually feel like these are shades I want too but don't already own. Check out the swatches of all 4 polishes after the jump!

Douceur is a light nude/beige base with fuchsia glitter mixed throughout. This was a collaboration with Tartofraises somehow I had never heard of her blog but since getting her shade I've been over there looking through her posts and she does really beautiful nail art! To read her post about the shade check out her blog here.  The formula was good, it was more opaque than I expected it to be and it wasn't streaky at all. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Geode is a light blue base with different shades of blue and gold glitter throughout it. This is a collaboration with Every Sensory. To read about the inspiration and naming for Geode check out Every Sensory's post here! The formula was good, it was a touch streaky on the first coat but perfect with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Imperial is a super vibrant purple with a heavy blue shimmer and gold glitter. This is a collaboration with Jeanette of The Swatchaholic. I was so excited to see this one, Jeanette is a blogger that I've become friends with over the last couple years and I had no doubt that if piCture pOlish ever collaborated with her it would be gorgeous. Well, let me tell you Imperial is insanely gorgeous...this is one of my favorite collaboration shades ever and will most likely be a favorite for 2013 for me. I wore it all of last week and was sad to take it off.

Imperial is super vibrant, more so in real life than it appears in photos, I'm also dying over the stunning blue shimmer in this. I loved how the shimmer was visible in the sun and didn't disappear in the shade.  If you want to read about how Jeanette came up with Imperial and see her beautiful photos of it check out her blog here. The formula was good, it was nice and opaque...I had no issues with application. This does dry a bit matte due to the neon pigment in it. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Siren Song is a sea foam green with a silver flecked shimmer. This is a collaboration with Rebecca Likes Nails. This shade was inspired Fender guitars & bass guitars by Mark & Tom from Blink 182. Ah yes...now that's my kind of inspiration I love me some Blink 182 and have seen them live several times throughout the years...even stood in like for like 6 hours about 10 years ago to meet them (now I feel old btw). I love the shimmer/glitter in this. It's bigger than shimmer but smaller than micro glitter...it's interesting! To read more about the inspiration and naming of Siren Song check out Rebecca's post here. The formula was good, it was a bit streaky on the first coat but perfect with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

  6. I really like these. They are really cute. But BY FAR AND WIDE the most beautiful has to be Imperial. All the others feel like stuff I have seen from other indie brands. Still, so beautiful though. And OMG the French blogger is FANTASTIC!!! How had I never heard of her before either?!
