Hi guys! Today I have the Fall 2013 collection from LCN to share with you! This 4 piece collection is called Charade and it's inspired by iconic Hollywood stars.LCN describes the collection as "Iconic. Classic. Timeless. Silver screen beauties are forever being re-interpreted and re-imagined, and yet, the style and sophistication remains." "Mysterious and alluring, their quad of earth-toned hues offers a modern interpretation of retro sex appeal..." I really love the inspiration and all 4 of the polishes in this collection are gorgeous! Check out all the swatches after the jump!
Audrey is a dark green creme with a golden shimmer. The shimmer is mostly hidden but you can see it when the light hits the nail right. I love the shade of green and the shimmer is super pretty when you can see it. The formula was perfection, nice and creamy...easy to apply etc... I used 1 coat for the photos below.
Liz is a dusty red creme. This is almost a brick red but it's not quite brown enough. I love the shade for fall and it's very flattering on. The formula was great, it was very nearly a 1 coater, I ended up using 2 coats to get a couple patchy spots covered up.
Marilyn is an orange creme. This is a red leaning orange but it leans more orange than red if that makes sense haha! The formula was perfect, another 1 coater!
Rita is a golden yellow creme. This is my favorite of the collection, it's an odd shade of yellow but I felt like it was very flattering on and a little different than the other yellows and golds in my stash. The formula was fantastic, it was nice and creamy and I had no issues with streakyness. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Ahhhh I'm such a sucker for mustard yellow. Would love to see a comparison with Barielle Aura Angora, even though I imagine I'll be buying it regardless...
ReplyDeleteLove that last one, weirdly enough!
