Pop Beauty Purple Plum & Radiant Ruby

Hi guys! Hope you all had a good weekend, mine was busy with a ton of nail polish swatching. Next weekend is crazy busy for me so I was like "must swatch all the things", it was intense lol! Today I have a couple new shades from Pop Beauty for Fall to share with you! This is the first time I've ever tried any of their polishes, but I've seen them at Ulta in the past. I also really like some of the eye shadows that Pop Beauty puts out, my cousin introduced me to them a couple years back and there are a few I use quite often.

Purple Plum is a dark eggplant purple creme. This is pretty vampy and has the tendency to look black but you can tell it's purple around the edges of the nail. The formula was really nice, it was a great consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Radiant Ruby is a red base with a gorgeous golden shimmer. The shimmer was a bit more obvious in person, it didn't want to photograph for some reason. The formula was again, really nice. I loved the consistency and the way it applied. I used 2 coats for the photos below, both photos are in natural sunlight.

Pop Beauty Nail Glam polishes can be found at Ulta stores and on Ulta.com for $10 each!

  5. Hooray for giveaway! I actually live part time in Russia, part time in Spain, but I'm going to visit my friends in San Francisco later this year, so I figured iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif I win something I'd rather have it shipped to their address...so I put USA in "Country of Residence". I hope it's ok? ^^;

  7. Delightfully festive! I'm not usually the biggest lover of glitter but these are really speaking to me. I love the colours in yours. We do get snow where I live, but sometimes we get so much that I would rather have your version of snowman instead. :)

  26. For some reason I hadn't noticed I Only Have Ice For You before! Now it's on my must-have list. I hope there is a large restock because everything is sold out on Harlowe. Disappointing when you want to support an indie brand but can't get the items you want. Beautiful collection!

  36. Hey! I fell in love with Strung Out so I went ahead and bought it. Love it on, but I had a lot of trouble with application. I put on thin coats and had issues with the glitter. Then I tried thick coats and got it all over the place (which can be attributed to user error). Now, it's on, and looks great, but it's super bumpy, even after two top coats. Any tricks, or is that just the nature of big glitter?

  37. Try putting on a matte coat then another coat of regular top coat, usually matte top coats will help smooth down bumpy glitter a bit!
