Zoya Rolando Santana Trio Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have an LE trio Zoya put out during the last New York Fashion Walk as a collaboration with designer Rolando Santana to share with you guys. This trio was created with Rolando Santana to go along with his Spring/Summer '14 line which was inspired by Frida Kahlo's life story. I've searched high and low and it doesn't look like this trio is available to buy anymore, but I wanted to share it anyway because the colors are nice! If you guys can't live without any of these I'd suggest going over to Zoya's Facebook page and letting them know...they sometimes bring colors from these trios back as part of their seasonal collections! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Maria is a purple creme. This is a gorgeous shade of purple that is super flattering on pretty much any skin tone. The formula was great, it was almost crelly like with the way it applied. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Natasha is a yellow toned beige nude creme. Usually yellow toned nudes don't work for me but I quite like this one on and it's a great base for layering1 The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and not streaky at all. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Sara is a bright yellow creme. This wasn't quite as bright as it's looking in my photos but it's not exactly subdued either. This looks pretty similar to Pippa and/or Creamy so if you're looking for a yellow like this I'd check out those 2. The formula was pretty good for a yellow, it was a little streaky but not too bad. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

If there are any comparisons you'd like to see for these polishes let me know in the comments!

  1. All three of them are lovely. <3

  2. please compare Sara with Zoya Flynn!

  3. I mean Natasha, not Sara. Please compare with Zoya Flynn. :-)

  4. Frida Kahlo is one of my all time favorite artists. Her life is an inspiration. I hope I can find this.

  5. natasha is just gorgeous! is there any dupe for this beautiful color?
