LCN Winter 2013 A Warm Homecoming Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the LCN Winter 2013 A Warm Homecoming Collection to share with you. This 4 piece is 3 cremes and 1 shimmer. I was pretty excited about these as soon as I saw them, I really enjoy a good creme polish and the 3 in this set are such beautiful colors that I couldn't wait to try them out. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Berry Punch is a magenta shimmer. This is a nice dark jewel toned shimmer, it feels perfect for the holidays to me! The formula and opacity were both good, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Chocolate Fudge is a rich dark brown creme. Love this, if you like brown you probably will too! The formula was good as was the consistency and opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Home Sweet Home is a dark blue creme. Another favorite for me, I know it's kind of a simple color but I so appreciate good cremes lol! The formula was good, it was a touch patchy on the first coat but perfect with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Knitting Wool is a creamy light yellow. The formula was good for such a light yellow, there was a bit of streakyness on the first coat but it was minor and completely covered with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

LCN is available over at LCNboutique.com, these are available in a box set with all 4 for $24.90 or you can buy them individually for $7.50 each.

  1. Hi !
I know you have already answered this in your FAQ.. But I still wanted to ask you personally, I have never used a top coat. Reviews about seche vite are mixed with people saying it fastens chipping. What is the longest wearing nail top coat you recommend and within budget .. Also my Sally Hansen base coat still causes nail stains .. Plz help.. Thanks :)

  5. Wear time really depends on your body chemistry, something that is great for me might not work as well for you. I don't use a lot of drugstore top coats anymore but Sally Hansen Insta Dri was always good for me when I did

  6. Thanks a lot .. I have read a lot about seche vite but reviews also suggest that it causes chipping the next day .. So it's confusing ..
