Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: Jaded, Pat On The Black & Red My Lips Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line to share with you. All 3 of these are core colors, I recently got them in an Influenster Vox Box which was a nice surprise! I've gotten a few Influenster boxes over the last year or so but this was the first I felt like was perfect for me! Clearly, I love nail polish and I've always enjoyed the Complete Salon Manicure line from Sally Hansen so it doesn't get much better than that. When I was first starting out with nail polish a lot of my first polishes were from this line because of how easily accessible they are! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Jaded is a light jade green creme. This leans a little bit blue but it does look green most of the time. The formula was ok, it was unexpectedly sheer which was a bit disappointing. It does build up but you'll need a few coats to get it opaque. I used 4 coats for the photos below.

Pat On The Black is a very dark purple creme. This is one of those that looks black in most lighting but when you put it next to a black you can tell it's purple. The formula was good, it was a bit patchy on the first coat but completely opaque with the second. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Red My Lips is a red creme. Nothing to write home about in terms of color but it's nice on and it's a good classic red if you're looking for one to add to your collection. The formula was great, it was nice and opaque and the consistency was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes are available at all drugstores along with places like Target and Ulta! The price varies depending on where you buy from!

  1. How does jaded compare to china glaze for Audrey?

  2. I adore Pat On The Black. It's been one of my favorite nail polishes to wear this fall and winter. Gets me loads of compliments as well!

  4. Too bad Jaded has such a sheer formula! Is it covering even enough to use for jelly sandwiches maybe?

  7. It could be, it was a little patchy but it might work as a jelly sandwich!

  8. I haven't put them side by side, but it's much more sheer and squishy

  9. I've been trying to find Jaded for a couple years now and I never have. I thought I read on another blog that it was LE from some collaboration collection a few years back, so I figured that's why I can't find it. :( I love the color and anything with the "squishy" factor is right up my alley.

  10. I won't be picking any of these up because I've already got several like each of them. But they appear to be fantastic base shades for glitters or other overcoats. :)

  11. I own jaded and I bought it having read it is a jelly and I love it. It works great for jelly sandwiches and stamping sandwiches. If you think of it as a jelly instead of a cream I think you'll feel different about it as I don't think it really has a cream finish.

  12. four coats of jaded? do you think there was something wrong with the formula on this one? normally i get away with two coats of the complete salon line.
