OPI Brazil Collection Beach Sandies Mini Set Swatches

Hi guys! Today I have the last part of the Brazil Collection from OPI to share with you! This is the Beach Sandies mini set, it's 4 bright liquid sand shades. As far as I am aware these are only available in the mini sized bottles. I'm a big liquid sand fan so it kinda bums me out that these aren't full sized but oh well...nothing I can do about that haha! All 4 of these are a bit reminiscent of Jinx that was part of last year's Bond Girls Collection...they are very similar in terms of finish and sparkle. If you liked Jinx you'll probably like these also! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

I'm Brazil Nuts Over You is a coral pink with purple shimmer. I really love how the purple shimmer is visible when this is matte and even more visible when you top coat it. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Samba-dy Loves Purple is a red toned purple with silver shimmer. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat but ended up being completely opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

What's A Little Rain Forest? is a bright blue with silver shimmer. I was a little worried about this one and staining but I used 2 coats of base coat and didn't have any issues with it staining. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and the opacity was nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

You're So Flippy Floppy is a bright yellow. This is my favorite of the 4, I just love how bright it is. i was saying this on twitter the other day but I'll say it here too....I want a collection of neon liquid sands/textured polishes. I feel like that's really the only thing I'm missing, this is a good start with bright neon like textures but I need more lol! The formula was ok, it was a little thick but I had no issues with application and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Beach Sandies Liquid Sand mini pack will retail for $12.95 ($14.95 CAN

  1. Gorgeous swatches! I love it has gliterry particle to it but not too overwhelming and kind of settle really well with the color!

  2. These are pretty but honestly, I'm not blown away by them. Thank you for taking the time to swatch these though.

We love those colors, but especially Brazil Nuts Over You!

  4. I love all of them, except for the yellow one. Yellow isn't my color.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I like it with the top coats. It just gives it a little something. Great Pixs!

  6. My appreciation of liquid sand polishes is all over the place. But these are gorgeous and so fun for spring and summer...I don't know if I could pick one! Thank God they come in a little pack together.

  7. So beautiful! Can't wait to get these!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I LOVE textures, and love these just as much! I wish I didn't have to get all four, since I have so many textures. BY THE WAY, if you are looking for neon textures, might I suggest you check out Red Dog Designs Neon Sand Collection. They are AMAZING and so bright/sparkly. One of the fastest drying textures I've tried (I have at least 75 lol). And an indie, so that's awesome!

  9. I already knew that the yellow was awesome, but all of these look gorgeous! Now I can justify the purchase, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yep getting that! X

  11. Red Dog Designs did a nice collection of neon sands last year. I believe they are still available.

  12. Okay, after reading "you're so flippy floppy" I've got "I'm on a boat" stuck in my head, lol! Not sure I like these, but that probably has more to do with the fact I don't feel ready for summer at all yet - I want summer, it's just not summer in my head!

Hi! Do you know any top coat that contains small brocade? I would like to get an effect like Cadillacquer - Pinkman but to have brocade not in one nail polish but just in top coat so i can use it on many diffrent colors of normal, plane nail polishes? Thanks!

Ok I'm in love with this set and I need it right now, I seriously love every single polish here and bonus I love Jinx too so clearly I need this in my life. Thank you for your swatches (and enabling power ;))!! :)

  15. If they're really like Jinx I WANT EM ALL

    ReplyDelete
  16. I need these in my life! I'm all about the liquid sands, and the fact that they're named after Brazil makes me happy (I'm from there). Plus that yellow is stunning!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I love all of these and I wish they had just been released as full sized and part of the collection like the Mariah liquid sands were. I only have two texture polishes and I want all of these.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think those were creamy textures (like the China Glaze ones) I don't really care for that type of texture personally. I need them in sparkly form!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Nope! They are super sparkly. I bought all of them! Haha

    ReplyDelete
  20. ohhh noooo now I need them lol my poor bank account!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Love the collection ! However, I'm finding it hard to add unique colors to my inventory these days. Amaz-ON....Amaz-OFF is pretty lovely, as well as OPI Scores a Goal. As for comparisons:

Don't Bossa Nova Me Around- OPI My Very First Knockwurst and Essie Topless and Barefoot
    I Just Can't Copa-cabana- Zoya Pippa
I Sao Paulo Over There- Essie Mink Muffs and Essie Merino Cool
OPI Scores a Goal- OPI Skyfall
Taupe-less Beach- Essie Chinchilly and Essie Master Plan
Toucan Do It If You Try- Essie Sunday Funday and Essie Tart Deco
Where Did Suzi's Man-go ?- Essie Fear or Desire and Essie Tart Deco

Thank you for your wonderful swatches !

    ReplyDelete
  22. Too pretty. I'm need amazon amazoff, and where did Suzi's man-go

    ReplyDelete
  23. These look fun!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I love these...but I hate those tiny bottles...... Just wish they made them full size!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. ITA - neon Liquid Sand polishes!!! I'd buy the whole collection! I'd also get it if they were Pixie Dusts or Gum Drops, lol. :D I'm obsessed with your idea - I would freak out over neon sparkle textured polishes! :D

All that said... Loving these! They are so bright, pretty, and fun! NOT LOVING that they are minis noooooooooo!!! >.< OPI minis are microscopic. Why no full sizes for these awesome polishes?! :(

Favorites: What's A Little Rain Forest? is a favorite because I don't have a bright aqua sparkle texture. Great color! Love the purple sparkles in I'm Brazil Nuts Over You! Loving the yellow, awesome! I love all four shades actually...lotsa love for this set of four. These are great colors in this finish!

    Comparisons:
Sinful Colors Face The Facets vs You're So Flippy Floppy
Sinful Colors Ruby Mine vs I'm Brazil Nuts Over You

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh wow, this is an impressive collection of creams. The colors are so right on. I always forget how much I love a great cream until I wear one too! :D

Live.Love.Carnaval, Toucan Do It If You Try, and Where Did Suzi's Man-go? are all must haves for me! They're my favorites for sure! :D I Just Can't Cope-acabana and Kiss Me I'm Brazilian might be coming home with me also. I never buy nudes but Don't Bossa Nova Me Around looks so flattering and would be a great base for nail art. I wonder how it compares to Zoya Rue...

    Comparisons:
Don't Bossa Nova Me Around vs Zoya Rue
Kiss Me I'm Brazilian vs OPI Steady As She Rose
Where Did Suzi's Man-go? vs Zoya Cole
I Just Can't Cope-acabana vs China Glaze Happy Go Lucky

Thanks so much for these amazing swatches!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love all of these! The only one I probably wouldn't buy is the last one, because I have Zoya Solange and it seems to be a dupe, or at least close enough...(?) but the others are so unique and gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Great swatches! I now want at least four of these colours which is three more than I wanted before seeing your blog post....!

    ReplyDelete
  29. The only ones I could get away with are the taupe and duochrome. All the
rest would look hideous with my light skin tone. I guess I'm in the
minority but I'm not liking these colors. Great swatches though!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love all of these but I really want You're So Flippy Floppy. It's stunning!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks for the beautiful swatches! I love textures but I hate mini bottles :-( Mostly because OPI doesn't put the names on the minis and I can't keep track of them. If that's all they'll release these in then I'll have to make an exception. Thanks for the heads up about the Red Dog neon textures. I hadn't heard of those until now. They sound fantastic!

Oh my goodness, a neon Liquid Sand collection would be amazing!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Could you please compare AmazON AmazOFF to China Glaze Exotic Encounters?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't think I will ever tire of texture polishes...I am a little bummed that these are only mini's also. It was surprising to me that they did that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I hope these end up in my local TK Max sooner or later :D

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just feel so bored with OPI nail polishes lately. I feel like they don't really do anything that they either haven't done before or that another brand has done better. Nothing in this collection really screams out at me.

    ReplyDelete
  37. How does I Sao Paulo Over There compare to Sephora by OPI Metro Chic?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I completely agree. There's nothing special, really. Many from this collection I automatically matched them to other OPI colors. The oranges I will say are different, but otherwise, eh.

    ReplyDelete
  39. "I Sao Paulo Over There" reminds me of Essie Ladylike or Zoya Normani. How do you even pronounce all that. I "saw pablo"... I mean, come on OPI lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have been waiting to see swatches of these and they definitely do not disappoint. I love the liquid sand polishes so much and these are so pretty; I especially love the yellow. I wonder why they didn't make them full size though. Seems kind of weird to me.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm really into the light neutrals in this collection and the yellow, I love a good yellow cream! The other colors are pretty lackluster tbh, especially for a spring collection.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Definitely picking up a bottle of I Just Can't Cope-acabana, it's the yellow I've been dreaming of! Haha.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think this is the first OPI collection that I would be happy with every single polish. Those cremes are just beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am hoping with all the complaints bloggers and buyers have made about them being mini sized, we will see full sized soon. I hope OPI is paying attention! So mean to make these gorgeous colors minis. The size is way too small to last a long time, pointless!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Cajun shrimp definitely leans more red in my eyes!

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's almost like "Sew Paulo," there's no B in it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This has to be one of my favorite collections OPI has come out with for a while! I already purchased 4 of these polishes and I am trying to behave and not get any more, but we'll see what happens. I like that there's a variety of colours, not just all brights or all neutrals or whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  48. These are so cute and I like the colours but I wish they came in full size! I tend to get annoyed with the brushes on mini polishes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I just wanted to let you know that I saw a company or person using your jump image of this collection to advertise for themselves on the OPI facebook page... idk if you allow that or not since the jump images are not watermarked...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Can you link me to it? I didn't see it when I looked

    ReplyDelete
  51. they are gorgeous.. i would love if you could compare OPI My Vampire Is Buff to Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, would help me a lot with my decision :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Can you do dupes for Red Hot Rio? Is Big Apple Red similar? I have a red obsession, but I don't need a million! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wait until you see their new glitter collection and tinted topcoats

    ReplyDelete
  54. Id be curious to see the comparison between kiss me I'm braZilian and hey baby from the Gwen stefani collection. I already have hey baby and I'm wondering how different the new pink is. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Could you please compare Live.Love.Carnaval with Essie Ole Caliente if possible. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm wondering how Where Did Suzi's Man-go compares with Zoya Arizona - they look like they could be really similar! Also, Live.Love.Carnaval looks a bit like Nicole by OPI's Strike a Pose. Is I Sao Paolo Over There like Zoya Normani or Sephora by OPI's Metro Chic?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Maybe this was already mentioned in the comments, but could you compare Where Did Suzi's Mango with Zoya Cole?

OPI My Vampire is Buff has more of a yellow off white and Don't BOssa Nova Me Around is more of a pink off white. They are both great it just depends what you are going for.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I think OPI steady as she rose (pirTes of the caribbean collection) and OPI dont bossa nova me around are dupes!! Can you do a comparison? Please lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. May I know which top coat did you use for the liquid sand edition? thanks a million! :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I used OPI's top coat for the photos!
