Saturday Spam: Sally Hansen Triple Shine

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good weekend so far! Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday, I had one planned then there was a water leak at my house and I never got a chance to finish writing up yesterday's post :( Today I have a big huge helping of Saturday Spam for ya! All of today's spam is from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine line. These have been out at drugstores for a little while now, I think I actually have most (if not all) of the line in this post, I know there is one I posted earlier called Make Waves but other than that I think this might be all of the available colors.

Check out all the swatches after the jump, this post is very picture heavy so it may be a little slow to load.

Bait Me is a light silvery grey with a subtle shimmer. The shimmer is subtle but not hidden. The formula was good, the consistency was really nice and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Blow Bubbles is a pink shimmer. This has a nice pink flash to it, I think it would probably look great layered over a dark color but I haven't had a chance to try that yet. The formula was good, it was a bit sheer but it built up easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Clam Up is a very light pink base with a darker pink shimmer. I have to say, when I saw this in the bottle I didn't like it, but on the nail I love it! I think I was expecting it to be frosty and it didn't end up being that way at all. The formula was good, it was a touch sheer but it built easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Dive In is an aqua blue creme. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Drama Sheen is a light purple with a darker purple shimmer. This is another surprise favorite for me for the same reasons as Clam Up was. The formula was good, it was a bit sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Dream Sequins is copper glitter in a clear base. The formula was good, as was the glitter coverage. It wasn't think and it was really easy to get a great amount of glitter onto the nail. I used 1 coat over Bait Me for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Fanta-Sea is small blue and silver glitter in a clear base. This also had great glitter payoff and it wasn't thick. I used 1 coat over Vanity Flare for the photos below.

Flame On is a dark pink with a purply pink shimmer. This is another where the shimmer is subtle, but not hidden. It's gorgeous out in the sun when the light hits the nail right. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Great White is a shimmer white. This would be a good alternative if you want a white nail polish but don't want a really stark white. It's easy to wear and super flattering on. The formula was good, it was a little sheer but I had no issues with it being majorly streaky. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Hypnautical is blue/green glitter and iridescent shard glitter in a slightly blue tinted base. The base is tinted blue but it's very very slight and not something that would get opaque on it's own. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Dive In for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Kelp Out is a green creme. No surprise here, I like this one. Any kind of green is one I'll probably like. The formula was good, it was almost a bit crelly like. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lemon Shark is a bright yellow creme. This isn't a neon but it is still super bright, like a bright sunny yellow. The formula was good for a yellow, it was streaky but it wasn't too bad. This was opaque at 2 coats but I needed 3 to even it out. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Oyster Bar is a silver foil. This does show some brush strokes but it wasn't as bad in person as it appears in photos. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and nice and opaque. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Pearly Whites is an iridescent shard glitter topper. These are all shards so they can stick up off the nail but I didn't have that problem when I swatched it. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Red Snapper for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Pixie Slicks is a light pink creme. This was a touch darker in person, but not too much. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat but completely opaque with the second. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Play Koi is a red toned orange creme. The formula was good, a bit crelly like but nice and opaque. I used 2 coats for the photo below.

Pool Party is a light blue with a blue shimmer. This is like Drama Scene and Clam Up but it does look a touch more frosty than the other two. The formula was good, it was on the sheer side but it was easily buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Red Snapper is a red creme. In certain lighting this can lean a little bit towards orange but I think that will depend on your skin tone for the most part. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Reef-Raf is a medium pink creme. The formula was good, it was a little streaky on the first coat but completely even and opaque with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Scale Up is iridescent glitter and shard glitter in a slightly green tinted base. The green base is very very sheer, I don't think you could get it opaque on it's own. I used 1 coat over Kelp Out for the photos below.

Seanic is green glitter in a clear base. The formula of this was good, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was great! I used 1 coat over Great White for the photos below.

Slick Black is a black base with silver and multicolored shimmer. The shimmer is very strong in this and visible in both sunlight and lower lighting. The formula was good, it was a little sheer on the first coat but opaque with the second. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Sparking Water is a blue leaning teal shimmer. This was a favorite for me, I wore it for about a week on it's own and was really happy with the wear time! The formula was good, it was a touch sheer but it built easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Lighting; Shade

Sparks Fly  is blue glitter and silver hex glitter in a blue tinted base. The formula was good, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was great. I used 1 coat over Pool Party for the photos below.

Statemint is a bright chartreuse green. This leans very yellow but when you hold it up to something like Lemon Shark you can see the green more. The formula was good, it was a little streaky but not bad. I used 2 coats for the photos below. My only issue was this was that it kept wanting to bubble on me, you can see it a little on my middle nail. I'm not sure if it just didn't like me or if I was doing my coats too thick or what.

Twinkled Pink is silver and gold shimmer/glitter in a pink tinted jelly base. The formula was a little thick but I had no issues with application and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Reef-Raf for the photos below.

Vanity Flare is a purple creme. Nothing ground breaking in terms of color but I always love a good purple creme and this one is really nice. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and super opaque....nearly a 1 coater. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Wavy Blue is a bold blue shimmer. This is another favorite, you can tell why from the photos...it's gorgeous! This has a touch of a purple duochome to it in lower lighting. The formula was good, a bit sheer but buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Wow! These are pretty! Just by opinion would you say that Vanity Flare is similar to OPI's Funky Dunky?

I love Wavy Blue, really pretty. I am going to try and find myself a bottle of Great White too. Don't you think Clam Up and Great White would make a great French manicure? These days, everyone seems to be wearing their F.M's with gold tips or black tips or nude nail and coloured tips etc. Why not go back to the original, palest pink and white, but still with that something extra to make them special?
