Nicole by OPI Roughles Collection

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good day, mine is much better than yesterday. I went to the dentist and got my crown re-cemented and I got my teeth cleaned since I was already there. It was pretty painless! Unfortunately they also found a cavity I need filled but I didn't get that done last night, I have to go back for it :(

Today I have the Nicole by OPI Roughles Collection for ya. This 4 piece textured collection is probably my favorite collection that has come out for spring this year. These are unlike any of the other textures I have, they are creme with different flecks of matte shimmer in them. These are unique in my collection and the pastel shades are just really doing it for me right now! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

I'm Stucco On You is a pale lilac with flecks of blue and red. The formula was great, it wasn't thick and the opacity was fantastic. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

On What Grounds is a minty blue creme with blue and black flecks. This leans a little bit towards green depending on the light you're in but overall it's blue..at least on me! The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and the opacity was good! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Rock The Look is a light pink creme with red and black flecks. The formula was great on this one also, it was a good consistency and the opacity was great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade
Sand In My Shoe is a light sunny yellow creme with red flecks. I really like this one, it's a nice wearable yellow, even on ghostly folks like me! The formula was good, it was a little thick but in a good way, it was easy to apply and I had no issues with it being streaky. The opacity was great, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade
Overall I LOVE this collection, I don't really think photos do much justice to how pretty they are. If you like pastels and interesting textures you'll love these also. My picks are all 4....I really do love them all!

The Roughles Collection will be available in stores beginning March 2014 for $7.99 each at retailers including select Duane Reade, Kroger, Kmart, Fred Meyer, CVS locations. In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu, Rexall, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaw, and London Drug.

  9. I'm hearing nothing but positive things on this release. I absolutely LOVE textures, but I guess the pictures just aren't doing any of these justice. I will pick up one or two (Sand In My Shoe for sure).

  10. Hmmm.. not sure how I feel about these. I love the soft pastel colors, they remind me of Easter! But I prefer my textures with more sparkle.

  12. Hi! I think this might be a stupid question, bc no one else has asked it below...lol, Does it chip or scrape off if you accidentally hit your finger up against something? You know how stucco can be?
