Watercolor Nail Art with OPI Sheer Tints

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was good! The flooring in the living room was finally finished so the whole renovation and whatnot is almost done! All that's left is the flooring in the kitchen, the countertops and having the appliances installed! Hopefully it'll be done soon!

Today I have a quick nail art post for you! I posted this NOTD on Instagram a couple days ago and I still love it so much that I decided to post it here too. When I reviewed the Sheer Tints I mentioned at the end that I wanted to try my hand at a watercolor mani that Victoria from Serum No. 5 posted on her blog (you can see hers here!). I have to say, I freaking LOVE this...LOVE. The Sheer Tints are worth it just for the ability to do this kind of nail art lol! If you want to learn how to do this there is a great tutorial on Phoenix Beauty Lounge, it's the tutorial I followed! P.S. I need to do the saran wrap nail art she did...omg!

After I posted this mani on Instagram and Facebook on Saturday, Becca commented and said I should add a holo top coat. I couldn't resist and man....does it look good that way! The pictures aren't doing it any justice! I used 2 coats of KBShimmer Prism Break over the watercolor nail art for the photos below.

  8. Oh, MAN! I don't normally leave comments because I usually just read through your posts and pictures from within my email, but I had to drop by and tell you how much I love this mani! Both with and without the Prism Break layered on top. It's fantastic!!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Such a pretty manicure, but personally, I think it's nicer without the holo topcoat. But it's just a preference. To each their own :)

  15. I love those sheer tints! I was made for them! I feel like they are easier to apply, always flattering and the chips don't show as much. I also love this halo top coat...I could see you going down a rabbit hole with different combinations ")

  16. I'm trying to find a good white to put under sheers and neons. Which do you think are the best whites/off-whites as far as formula and opacity?
