Zoya Summer 2014 Bubbly Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I am off on my way to Ohio, as you read this I'm probably on a's gonna be a long day of travel! I'm not sure how much I'll be online while I'm gone so if you leave a comment and don't see it posted or if you ask a question and don't get an answer that's why!

I have the second half of Zoya's Summer 2014 Collections to share with you, this half is called Bubbly. It's 6 glitter packed shades. You can wear these on their own or layered. I prefer them layered over the polishes from the Tickled Collection but they are pretty either way! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Most of these polishes were consistency in terms of formula, with the exception of 1which I'll talk about when I get to it. These were a bit on the sheer side but they were easy to build up to full opacity. I did find them to be a little thick but I had no issues with application. I used 3 coats plus top coat for all the swatches except for Muse, which was 2 coats. I find that the sunlight pictures don't do these a lot of justice, they were hard to photograph that way unfortunately :( All 6 polishes are jelly based with a ton of micro glitter and shimmer. They are all also full of iridescent glitter, it tends to look best in lower light, like the shade.

Alma is a golden peach, it's very yellow toned orange!

Binx is a a purple toned pink, in person this leans a little bit more towards purple than it reads in photos.

Harper is bright pink. I found the the base of this one kind of hid the iridescent glitter a little bit more than the other shades in the collection.

Jesy is an orange leaning coral.

Muse is a dark blue/green. This was the most opaque of the bunch, only needing 2 coats for full opacity. I didn't have staining with this but it looks like the type that could stain so I'd recommend using 2 coats of base coat with it.

Stassi is a medium green. I keep wanting to call it apple green haha!

The Bubbly Collection is available now at, each polish retails for $9

  1. There's a surprising amount of depth to these! I might have to pick up Alma. It reminds me of champagne! Thanks for the swatches :)

  2. I really like this collection! There so pretty and sparkly.

I'm still not sure about these :/

Ive become so obsessed with Zoya's glitter polishes like Storm, Dream, Blaze and Payton, that these look thick, chunky and textured to me, compared to how smooth and glossy those 4 finishes are...

  4. I like the iridescent glitter in these and Stassi is my favorite!

I normally stay away from glitters because the removal is such a mess a green/blue polish lover I will kick myself if I don't pick up Stassi and Muse!!

  6. OMG - how awesome would these look matte?!

  7. These look awesome! Way better than I thought they would

  8. How thick were the coats you applied? I did five of Staasi and Jesy and still didn't achieve full opacity.

  9. What pretty colors!!! I might have to pick up a few these :) Such nice swatches thank you!

  10. These colors are GORGEOUS!

I love the Zoya colors but is it me? Or do they dry incredibly slow for everybody else too?

  12. Binx was a disappointment. Three coats, and I still wasn't happy. I'm going to try it layered over something else next time.

  13. I love the color Binx and would like to layer it over another color. However, I am terrible with that type of thing. Any idea what to layer it over? I've seen photo's of it next to Zoya's Nana as an accent nail and a photo of it over Blyss. Going by Zoya's web site, Binx is supposed to go over Kitridge. I'm also fine with layering it over another brand. I would welcome any suggestions. Thank you so much!
