Lac Attack Fierce Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! Anyone have fun plans this weekend? Mine should be pretty hectic, I'm going to Ohio for a work conference next week so I'll be running around like a mad woman getting errands done. Along with errands I have to do all the blog stuff I'd normally do at night after work during this weekend so that posts are still normal. Exciting stuff...

Anyway, today I have a new Lac Attack collection to share with you. This collection is called Fierce and it's all glitter and special effect toppers. I was excited when Ana told me about these because I love polishes like these, you can create an endless amount of looks with them! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Daring is a silver shard glitter. I had no issues with the glitter pieces sticking up off the nail and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over OPI Short-Stop! for the photos below.

Fearless is flakes of blue shimmer in a blue tinted base. The base is slightly tinted but not so much so that it will totally cover up whatever you layer it over. I love this one, it's like the perfect amount of sparkle! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the consistency was good. I used 1 coat over Barielle First Class Ticket for the photos below.

Fierce is pink/purple/blue duochrome shimmer in a pink tinted base. This is the most duochrome-y of the bunch. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 1 coat over Dance Legend Nox for the photos below.

Quirky is white flakes of glitter in a clear base. I really like this one, there was a Sally Hansen polish somewhat similar to this that came out a while ago but the flakes of shimmer were smaller and it was meh to me...this is much more my speed! I used 1 coat over OPI Umpires Come Out At Night for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Sassy is golden flakes of shimmer in a green tinted base. This is my favorite of the collection, depending on how you layer it the shimmer has a little bit of a blue shift which is gorgeous! I used 1 coat over Barielle Money Talks for the photos below.

Unique is a strong golden shimmer in a very slightly yellow tinted base. The base of this is pretty much clear so it doesn't really do much to the base color. You guys know I love shimmer so I like a nice polish like this that adds a good shimmer to anything. I used 1 coat over Barielle Designer's Shoe for the photos below.

The Fierce Collection will be available tomorrow, May 10th at!

  1. What pretty colors to layer over others.

  2. These are the best swatches I've seen of this collection. Your base colour choices are perfect

  3. These are all so gorgeous especially the blues.

Meh! I'm not THAT into shimmer that I would buy a collection of just that. You always do the best combinations however.

  5. I remember that Sally Hansen one! Seems like it might have been one of the ones that had wedding-themed names...Glass Slipper maybe? Anyway, these swatches are beautiful and you sure to have a knack for selecting perfect base colors to bring out the beauty of the sparkles!
