KBShimmer 6th Anniversary Beach Themed Trio Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a fun post for you of a new trio from KBShimmer in celebration of their 6th Anniversary this August! The trio is beached themed and includes 2 new cremes and a new textured glitter, it launches over on KBShimmer.com on August 1st! In addition to these 3 gorgeous polishes 2 new Nail Vinyl designs are being released which I also have in some nail art later in the post. As if that wasn't enough KBShimmer will be doing a bunch of stuff to celebrate including an awesome giveaway on their website starting July 21st and a free Nail Vinyl sample for any purchase during the month of August!

Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Beach Please is a nice bright, almost neon, pink creme. Besides the color being great can we just take a moment to laugh at the name of this polish? It's perfection. The formula was great, it was a really nice consistency and easy to apply. The opacity was great and it was opaque in 2 coats.

Hexy Bikini is a textured glitter that is super sparkly both with and without top coat. There is so much going on in here, holo glitter, blue glitter, pink glitter and silver glitter. This can be worn alone easily but and with a light hand and a thin coat you could wear it as a topper also. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was great. I used 2 coats, no top coat, for the photos below.

Shore Thing is a bright minty green with blue undertones. I love this color, it makes me look tan which is no easy thing to do. The formula was really nice, it wasn't streaky and the consistency was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below. This does dry a little satin matte so I used top coat for the photos.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the post KBShimmer is releasing 2 new designs of Nail Vinyls with this trio. The designs are a scalloped design and a wavy design.

I used the scalloped nail vinyls in a fun and easy mani that used all 3 polishes from the trio. I loved how this turned out but I think I'd like it even more with a more contrasting color combo!

For the wavy nail vinyls I did a super bold design using Beach Please as my base and KBShimmer Stark Raven Mad over top. This is one of my favorite mani's in a while and I've gotten SO many compliments on it!

The KBShimmer Anniversary Trio launches on KBShimmer.com on August 1st, if you want to pick up the Nail Vinyls it looks like they are already available! For international folks you can pick up KBShimmer over at Harlow & Co!

Love both designs you created! I really think Beach Please and Stark Raven Mad look amazing together with the waves!

  4. Nail vinyls are the best thing that has happened to me w/r/t manicures, and I love the wavy one you've done here. Really gorgeous!

  5. Oh! I love the wavy chevrons! So pretty!

  6. All three of these are sooo amazing, and yup, I'm going to need them!

  7. The colors are gorgeous and those decals look like so much fun to create nail art designs with.

  8. I love all of these! Great swatches!

  9. Fabulous shades! Happy anniversary to them!

The scalloped design with Shore Thing and Hexy Bikini is insanely gorgeous!

  11. Hexy Bikini is my favorite but they are all gorgeous! I really love the nail art you created with them. They look beautiful!

  12. The hand cream may have meant to be creamy. I recently read a blog where they discussed the gritty texture forming in Lush's Lemony Flutter, from over heating and cooling back down, because of the shea butter in it. And how to make it creamy again. Since a main ingredient in the 365 hand cream is shea butter it may be the same.
