Dance Legend Holodays Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! Anyone have big plans this weekend? I'm not doing anything too terribly exciting, I haven't felt great for the last few days so I'll probably spend the weekend relaxing and trying to get rid of whatever sickness is trying to happen haha! Today I have the Holodays Collection from Dance Legend to share with you. This collection is 6 mini sized holo polishes, 2 of the polishes are really gorgeous duo/multichrome holos! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

As always the holo in all of these is much stronger in person!

Anthem is a purple holo. This is nice and strong, it's a linear holo but there are also some larger holo bits in the mix also. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. The opacity was also good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Blanco is a silver holo. This also has a linear holo and bigger holo bits of glitter. The formula was good, it was sheer at first but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Different View is a green/purple/silver multichrome with a nice strong holo. The color shift in this is great, its visible in pretty much every lighting. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Neptune is a blue holo. This leans a little towards being periwinkle! The formula was good, it was a little patchy on the first coat but the second coat completely covered it up. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

New Promise is a red/orange/gold multichrome with a strong holo. The holo was hard to capture in photos for this one but I promise you can see it much easier in real life! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was great. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Olive Theory is an olive green with a touch of a golden glow and a strong linear holo. This is a favorite for me, green and holo....you can't go wrong there! The formula was good, easy to work with and it had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Dance Legend is available at http://dance-legend.com/, the Holodays Collection retails for $8 each. If you order direct the polishes ship from Russia and take can 6-8 weeks to arrive...it's something to be aware of! Luckily if you don't want to wait for that long you can order from several etailers including Llarowe and several other etailers you can find listed on the Dance Legend home page!

  1. Great collection

  2. I really love Different View. I'm really a sucker for that combo multichrome.

  3. I got Olive Theory from Llarowe a few weeks ago (I think? I order from her too much!). It really is lovely. I really like the combo of the finer linear holo with the chunkier flakie-style bits of scattered holo. It really makes for a polish that is interesting in both low light AND bright sunshine! I noticed the golden glow, too - it was definitely more prominent than I had anticipated, but its effect makes Olive Theory all the more unique! Thanks for the gorgeous swatches! I'm glad you get DL polishes, because they have become one of my favorite brands!

  4. Beautiful swatches! How does Blanco compare to Layla? I've been wanting a more accessible version of Layla for a long time...

  5. I have Different View on the way to me (at least I hope so, I didn't get any shipping notification from them so far), but now I wish I had also bought New Promise. Dance Legend really should add the size of the bottles to their website. I had no idea these were minis! Thanks for letting me know :)

  6. I wish they did too! At least their minis are nice so I don't mind it too much but they should put that kind of info out there for people buying
