Hi guys! Today I have a new OPI Collection to share with you! I was doing some retail therapy the other day at Ulta and saw a display for these so I ended up going over to a local beauty supply and getting the collection! This new collection is a collaboration with Ford for the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang. There are 6 shades in total, and each bottle has shrink wrap around the brush handle that features the Mustang logo. I'm guessing this is serving as OPI's Summer Collection but I'm not 100% sure about that. As always if there are any comparisons you'd like to see for these let me know in the comments! 50 Years of Style is a golden chrome. This is kinda like the golden version of Push and Shove from the Gwen Stefani Collection. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was good. It does dry with brush strokes but they are more noticeable in photos than in real life. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Angel With A Lead Foot is a white creme. I was excited about this, sure white isn't very exciting but its a color I use a lot so I'm always looking for good ones. This one is nice, not my favorite but good for a crisp white. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. This was streaky going on but it was pretty minor for such a stark white. I used 3 coats to completely even everything out.
Girls Love Ponies is a pink creme. This one reminds me of the pink from the Gwen Stefani Collection (haven't compared them...yet!). The formula was good, easy to apply and nice and opaque. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Queen Of The Road is a black with a frosty like silver shimmer. This polish reminds me of an old OPI but I cannot for the life of me think of the name...if anyone knows it please let me know in the comments! The formula was ok, it was a little tricky...it was sheer and patchy on the first coat but perfect with a slightly thick second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Race Red is a red orange creme. This pretty much only leans to orange on me but perhaps if you have a darker skin tone than I do it will lean more red. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
The Sky's My Limit is a metallic blue with blue and green shimmer. This reminds me a lot of OPI's Catch Me In Your Net from a few years back, unfortunately I got rid of that polish (and all its dupes) because they were such bad stainers...so I can't tell you if they are actually dupes or just very similar. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and the opacity was good. I did use 2 coats of base coat with this just to be careful and I did not have any staining. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
OPI's Mustang Collection is available now, I've already seen it on shelves at Ulta! OPI retails for $9!
