RickyColor Hot Spots Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have some great glitters from RickyColor to share with you. This collection of glitters is called the Hot Spots Collection and it's inspired by different spots around New York City which is where the brand is based out of. RickyColor is the house brand of a New York beauty shop called Ricky's NYC, unfortunately for me I can't go visit their store in person but they have a great website where you can buy most of the products they sell. They seriously have so much stuff, I wish they had So Cal locations so I could shop till I drop in person haha! Anyway, check out all the swatches after the jump!

Formula wise all 5 polishes were consistent across the board. They are nice and dense with glitter, they can be a little thick because of that but I found them all easy to apply. The glitter coverage on all of them was fantastic, no need to dab them on to get good coverage! I used 1 coat of each polish over my base color. All of the photos in the post are in the shade, I tried to take sun photos but it just wasn't working out for me!*

Central Park Boat Basin is bright blue and white glitter in a clear base. I used it over Finger Paints Beautiful Mystery.

Governors Island Circus is neon pink and white glitter in a clear base. I used it over Finger Paints Petal Obsession.

Off Duty is neon yellow and white glitter in a clear base. I used it over Milani Ink Spot

Sample Sale Line is neon pink, bright blue and white glitter in a clear base. I used it over Finger Paints Film Noir.

Sunday Morning Murray Hill is neon pink, neon yellow and white glitter in a clear base. I used it over Milani Blue Print.

The RickyColor Hot Spots Collection is available at http://www.rickysnyc.com/, each polish retails for $6.50

  3. Are these manufactured by Forsythe Cosmetics? They look exactly like Color Club's Poptastic Remix collection.

  5. I have no idea but dupes don't necessarily mean its the same company.

  6. Pretty sure the manufacturer is Forsythe. In doing a quick search, it said that Ricky's used to sell Mattese Elite polish, and was relauching their "house brand." Mattese Elite - belongs to Forsythe.
