Glam Polish You're Never Too Old To Be Young Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a new collection from Glam Polish to share with you! This collection is called You're Never Too Old To Be Young and it's inspired by different songs from Disney movies! I'm a big old Disney nut so I was excited about these! The collection includes 6 holos, 3 multichome holos and 3 glitters so there is a little something for everyone! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

A Whole New World is a dark purple holo with a bit of a golden flake shimmer. Fun fact, when I was like 6 or 7  my friend and I sang this song in the talent show at the Girls & Boys club we went to. I sand the Aladdin parts haha! The formula was great, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo is aqua, pink, plum, periwinkle and silver holo glitter in a clear base. There are some very tiny pieces of star glitter in here that I loved, I have one on my middle nail but its a little hard to see. I really like how soft this glitter is and it looks good over most base colors. The formula was good, it was easy to get a lot of polish onto the nail without being thick. I used 1 coat over China Glaze History Of The World.

Can You Feel The Love Tonight is an aqua blue holo with a golden flake shimmer. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was nice. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Fixer Upper is a multichrome holo that shifts between blue, violet and red. Both the holo and the multichrome were much stronger in person than my camera could capture. Glam Polish told me that the holo multichromes in the collection work best over a dark base so I layered 1 coat over Cirque Memento Mori for the photos below..

Lighting: Shade

Friend Like Me is a periwinkle holo with blue/purple flake shimmer. In person this leaned a little bit more towards purple on me than its looking on my computer screen right now. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Hakuna Matata is a multichrome holo that shifts between green, violet, blue and red. Again the holo and multichrome were both much stronger in person. I used 1 coat over Cirque Memento Mori for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

In Summer is a white crelly with periwinkle, orchid, aqua and lavender glitter. This builds up on its own but you could always wear it over white if you wanted to do less coat. The formula was good, it was sheer but buildable, I used 3 coats on its own for the photos below.

LIfe's A Happy Song is a white crelly with aqua, teal, turquoise and silver holo glitter. The formula was good, it was sheer but buildable and opaque in 3 coats on its own. You could also wear this over white if you wanted to!

Pictures In My Head is a green holo with a golden flake shimmer. This is a nice blue toned green, I wasn't sure about it in the bottle but I love it on the nail! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and opaque in 2 coats!

Sleeping Beauty is a multichrome holo that shifts between purple, copper, cyan and blue. The holo and multichrome were much stronger in person than in photos! The formula was good, I used 1 coat over Cirque Memento Mori for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Topsy Turvy is an orchid holo with purple/blue flake shimmer. This one looks awesome both in the sun and in the shade! The formula was good, it was a good consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah is a rosy pink holo with golden flake shimmer. I don't know about you guys but the name of this polish makes me want to go to Disneyland so I can ride Splash Mountain lol! The formula was good, it did try a little bit matte so I used top coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below

The You're Never Too Old To Be Young Collection is available for pre-order from August 13th from www.glampolish.com.au with shipping to Australia & USA (shipping rates to USA are $7.95 for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each addition polish).

  8. The star glitter in Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo doesn't really interest me, but the shades of the glitter are SO pretty!
