Zoya Fall 2014 Ignite Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! I don't know about you guys but I am excited for this weekend because it's a 3 day weekend! Thank you Labor Day! Today I have the 2nd half of Zoya's offerings for Fall 2014! This half is called Ignite and its 6 gorgeous shimmers! This is the more exciting and unique half of the collection so if cremes aren't your thing these might be. Check out all the swatches after the jump

Autumn is a coppery shimmer. This is a little bit brushstroke-y but it wasn't as noticeable in person as it is in photos. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and nice and opaque. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

India is a dark burgundy with orange and purple shimmer. I love the depth this has to it, it's nice and vampy but the shimmer isn't too hidden. The formula was good, it was a good consistency and the opacity was great! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Remy is a dark blue shimmer with a bit of a green flash. This is one of my favorites in the collection, photos really don't do much justice to how gorgeous it is in person! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was fantastic...almost a 1 coater for me! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Lighting: Shade

Sansa is a dark purple with a strong golden shimmer. This is a bit more noticeably purple in person, you can see it more predominantly around the edges of the nail. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Teigen is a cranberry with a golden shimmer. The formula was good, again a really nice consistency with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Yuna is a blue toned grey with a golden shimmer. This is the standout of the collection for me, the contrast between the base and the shimmer is gorgeous and I don't *think* I have anything quite like it...at least not that I can think of off the top of my head! the formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Overall I really enjoy the Ignite Collection, Zoya always done such gorgeous shimmers and these don't disappoint! My picks are Yuna and Remy!

The Ignite Collection is available now at Zoya.com and at Ulta, each polish retails for $9

  2. Yuna is lovely! At the store I grabbed Remy because even in the bottle it was amazing to look at. I might go back for Yuna though!

I wonder if Yuna is similar to Yara or if I'm way off base...

    Sansa though ♡♡♡♡♡

  5. This collection is lovely! I would totally wear every color in here.

  6. Yuna is beautiful but it seems to be similar to Opi Live and let die from the skyfall collection.

  7. They aren't very similar at all, that polish is much darker and green toned.

  8. This collection is just damn near perfect, and right up my alley. I love all of the shades, but am really dying over: Yuna, Remy, and India! Yuna is such a stunner, and what I've always wished OPI's "I Don't Give a Rotterdam" would be - darker, richer, more contrast to make the shimmer pop.

I'm so pleased to see that the color trend is spilling over into the colder months! Jewel tones, especially, are big for F/W14. (Teal, Cobalt, Emerald, Wine, Mustard Yellow!) I can't wait to see what else is in store! :)

  9. They are gorgeous. Yuna seems close to Illamasqua Facet (which i love!), perhaps a bit more blue...
I think I need India, Sensa and Remy.

  11. How does Remy compare to Milani Bella Blue? Thanks!

  17. Yuna reminds me of an older Sephora OPI one that was called "Son of a Gun". I don't remember if it was available in a full size, but it was in a few of the mini sets.

  18. They're all beautifull! My favourite? India and Remy!

  19. How does Yuna compare to Essie Cashmere Bathrobe from last year's Fall Collection? The shimmers are different colors but are they different enough to warrant getting both/how does the darkness of the shades compare?

  20. I don't own that polish anymore, not sure how they compare

  21. That was my initial thought as well! Thanks for clarifying. Nothing I hate more than accidentally buying dupes lol.

  22. Cashmere Bathrobe has less shimmer than Yuna and the shimmer it does have leans more silver. I'd totally get Yuna as it is quite different!

Now that I have purchased Remy and Sansa I completely understand what you meant by Sansa being much more noticeably purple in person, it looks SO different than the picture

one thing with Remy though, after a couple hours my polish seems to lean toward more or an Aqua or Turquoise color and FAR less blue, was this the case with yours as well? it is still beautiful but I expected more blue with some green and not the other way around

  24. I didn't notice that with Remy when I wore it for a couple days...that is weird! Maybe it's the top coat?

I dont use top coats most of the time :(
maybe it's just the way it looks on me. I have had some of the other weird color changes you have mentioned with some other OPI polishes and Zoyas so.... I guess that's all I can assume.

  26. The closest I can think of Yuna is Live and Let Die from the OPI Skyfall collection, but that color is a gray-green, heavy on the forest green. Great post! I came to yours after Googling during a Zoya deal.
