OPI Holiday 2014 Gwen Stefani Collection: Don't Speak

Hi guys! Today I have Don't Speak from OPI's Holiday 2014 Gwen Stefani Collection for you! This polish is like the special top coats OPI released with both the James Bond Holiday and the Mariah Carey Holiday Collections the last couple of years. Don't Speak is an 18k gold flake top coat. It is packaged in its own collectors box that features a gorgeous photo of Gwen on it and the bottle is a golden color much like The Man With The Golden Gun was.

For those wondering if this is a dupe of The Man With The Golden Gun (TMWTGG) it isn't, of course they are similar but not exact dupes. This one has smaller flakes and it also has a golden shimmer. The overall look is nicer than I ever got with  TMWTGG, it's also much easier to apply. Due to the gold shimmer you get a nicer coverage of gold, you don't have try to fish out the good stuff!

I used 1 coat of Don't Speak over Christmas Gone Plaid for the photos below!

Lighting: Shade

Don’t Speak Pure 18K Gold Top Coat features OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application. This limited edition promotion will be available beginning October 2014 at professional salons, including Beauty Brands, beautybrands.com, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com, for  $30.00 ($37.50 CAN) suggested retail.

  3. Thanks so much for the review! This polish is kind of disappointing imo... I like the cleaner version without the shimmer in it.

  6. Lovely! I have to say I like this over TMWTGG. It looks a bit more wearable than the other one. Now if they found a way to do this in silver, I'd be ALL over it.
