Dollish Polish Ultimate Fandom Deux Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good weekend so far! Today I have the Ultimate Fandom Deux Collection from Dollish Polish to share with you! There are so many fandoms out there that Dolly has put out a second collection to commemorate them! If you missed the first collection you can see that post by clicking here! Before I get to the swatches of these I wanted to let you guys know that Dolly has a code for 15% off any order going on now through 9/15, the code to use at checkout is PARTDEUX15

Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Frakkin' Toasters is a metallic silver holo. This is inspired by Battlestar Galactia! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was fantastic. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Can I Touch Your Mango? is a glitter topper with yellow, green, orange and creme colored glitter in a variety of shapes and sizes. This polish is inspired by The Mortal Instruments! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the glitter payoff was great. I used 1 coat over OPI In A Holidaze.

Lighting: Shade
I Am The One Who Knocks is a very light blue crelly with different shades of blue glitter. This is inspired by Breaking Bad! The formula was good, it was much more opaque than I expected it to be! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

I Threw My Pie For You is a purple jelly loaded with all different shapes and sizes of purple, blue and fuchsia glitter. This is inspired by Orange Is The New Black! This can  be opaque on its own in 3-4 coats but I personally prefer it layered so that's how I swatched it! I used 2 coats over There's Only One Of Me. Getting out the donut glitter was a little tricky but that was the only issue I really had!

Lighting: Shade

I Want To Believe is a blue toned grey crelly with rainbow flakes of glitter and a blue shimmer. This is inspired by The X Files. The formula was good, it was sheer but it built easily and was opaque in 3 coats.

On Wednesday's We Wear Black is black and holographic glitter in a clear base. This is inspired by the Coven season of American Horror Story. This is another you can wear on its own in 3-4 coats but I really love how it looks layered. I used 1 coat over OCC Dangerous.

One Choice is a white crelly with multicolored/sized glitter. This is inspired by the Divergent series and features all the colors of the different factions! The formula was good, it was sheer but easily buildable. I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Seaweed Brain is a green leaning teal base loaded with blue, green and gold small glitter. This is inspired by Percy Jackson. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and much more opaque than expected. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Slice of Life is a red base with red, magenta and purple microglitter and glass flecks. This is inspired by Dexter! The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

So Long & Thanks For All The Fish is a light blue crelly with different sizes and shapes of blue and white glitter along with a blue shimmer. This is inspired by The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. The formula was good, it was sheer but buildable. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

The Status Is Not Quo is a metallic gold shimmer packed with gold glitter. This is inspired by Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. The formula was a little tricky as its on the thick side, I'd recommend either thinning it out a bit or layering it over a metallic gold base. If you do want to wear it on its own I suggest waiting a few minutes between coats so you don't drag off your previous coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

There's Only One Of Me is a blurple shimmer with a blue flash and rainbow micro flakes. This is inspired by Orphan Black. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Dollish Polish Ultimate Fandom Deux Collection is available now at www.dollishpolish.com, you can get them in full size and mini sized bottles. Full size retails for $10 and mini's are $5

  3. I wasn't a fan of any of these

    :(
There's Only One of Me is -okay-, but it looks really flat. The other colours are either really flat or super ugly. The 'donut' glitter in I Threw My Pie for You is unique indeed, but for a good reason. It's super, super ugly.

Apart from that, glitter combos that could be pretty look really, really gritty. I'm sad. This could be a good collection and it has good ideas, but I'm not a fan. Maybe I'm wrong, though...

  4. Jen, thanks for posting swatches of brands that to many of us aren't mainstream (i.e., you can't find them in local stores). As always, your photos are fabulous and I think each of these polishes is very unique. They just seem extra-out-of-the-ordinary. I've never checked out Dollish Polish but now I will!
