Hi guys! Today I have Nubar's Fall 2014 FALLing In Love Collection to share with you! It's been a while since Nubar had a new collection! Their Fall Collection includes a ton of gorgeous shimmers, I was immediately blown away by these when I saw them in the bottle. I'm a big sucker for contrasting shimmers and this collection has a couple gorgeous ones! Check out all the swatches after the jump!
Affair is a blue leaning teal base with a green shimmer. I love this one, it's one that doesn't look like much in the bottle then you put it on and WOW! The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity, you can see a little nail line in the photos but it's not visible in real life. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Don't Russet is a red with a subtle purple shimmer. The shimmer in this one is pretty hidden in most lighting, you can see it out in the sun at the right angle but otherwise it pretty much looks like a red creme. The formula was good, easy to apply with nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
First Date is a yellow with yellow shimmer. This is one you'll either love or hate, I love it. I feel like it's easy to wear since it's a bit of a darker toned yellow. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and not streaky. I used 3 coats for full opacity.
Love American Style is a red creme. This is a little bit jelly-ish but the opacity is good. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Lush is a blue creme. The formula was good, it was a bit on the jelly side. I did have some issues with streakyness on the 1st coat but the 2nd coat covered it up. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Passion's Pain is a dark maroon. The formula was good, it was also a bit of a jelly but the opacity was good. Depending on how you apply polish you will need 2-3 coats, I used 3.
Queen is a dark purple shimmer. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Sweet Hue is a bright coral pink with a golden shimmer. This is another favorite for me, I love the contrasting shimmer! This does feel a bit bright for Fall but shoot, I'll still wear it...it's always summer in So Cal haha! The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Nubar is available at www.bynubar.com, each polish retails for $8.40. I can't find this collection on their site yet but I'm sure it's coming soon!
