KBShimmer Holly Back Girl Swatch & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a new KBShimmer polish to share with you! This launches on November 1st with their Winter Collection but it's not an official part of the collection so I thought I'd give it its own post! Swatches of the official Winter Collection will be up tomorrow! Before I get into the polish I wanted to share a few promos KBShimmer is running for the holidays, these all start on 11/1/14!

-Free Shipping For All Orders over $40 on KBShimmer.com No code needed.  Runs from 11/01-12/31
-Free With a $70+ Purchase, Holly Back Girl, a white Christmas crelly polish with red and green glitters.  Use code HBGFREE to receive free polish and free shipping with $70+ purchase. Runs from 11/01-12/31
-Free samples!  While supplies last, we will be sending out a sample in each order.  Samples may include scrubs, lotions, vinyl nail decals, soaps, etc.  Orders will also include a branded emery board.
-Free Snowman Glitter!  The first 400 orders will receive a bag of 1000 snowmen glitters perfect for winter nail art.

Alright now onto polish! Holly Back Girl is white crelly with red and green metallic glitter. Not only is the name awesome for a Gwen Stefani fan like myself but the polish is pretty and perfectly festive for the holidays. The formula was great, it was a nice consistency with good glitter payoff. I used 3 coats for full opacity, plus a coat of Clearly On Top to smooth everything out!

Holly Back Girl will be available at KBShimmer.com on 11/1/14, it reatails for $8.75! If you plan on picking up a bunch of the new Winter Collection polishes don't forget to use the code HBGFREE to get this polish for free! International ladies can find KBShimmer over at Harlow & Co, please note the promos listed above do not apply to Harlow & Co.

  1. Love it! Very suitable for the holidays but not too Christmas-y, if you know what I mean haha :)

  2. This is so pretty. I really like it :-)

  3. Does this polish make anyone else think of frosted cookies with red and green sprinkles? Or is it just because I'm hungry?

  4. I'm so torn on whether or not to order this beauty. I'm already way over my polish budget. Ahh...

  5. This is a really fantastic holiday combo! Like Eva said, it's not overbearingly Christmas-y, but very festive. Love it.

  6. Mmmm.... yes it does me too, I couldnt quite put my finger on what it reminded me of right away but yep :) I really like it, cute, festive yet not OTT like Urby said :) so many pretties again this year!

  7. Could this be any more holiday appropriate :D?
