Pretty & Polished Halloween 2014 Collection (Partial) Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good day, I am! Yesterday I got my pre-approval back for a home loan so now I get to start house hunting! I am so excited, and a little scared...but mostly excited! Hopefully I can find a place and be a homeowner by the end of the year (a girl can dream!)

Today I have a couple polishes from the Halloween Collection from Pretty & Polished to share with you! There is 1 more in the collection that is a black to orange thermal that sounds pretty  neat! These are available now over at shopprettyandpolished.com!

Little Miss Scare-All is a dark purple base loaded with pink, copper and red glitter. The formula was good, it was a nice consistency and very opaque! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

She Did The Mash is a multi colored matte glitter concoction in a clear base. There are tons of shapes in here like hex glitter, circles, stars and triangles. The glitter is nice and dense with great coverage in 1 coat. I used 1 coat over Milani Peri-Wink for the photos below.

The Halloween Collection from Pretty & Polished is available at http://shopprettyandpolished.com/collections/halloween-2014-collection, both of the polishes in this post retail for $8.50!

  4. I actually like the gleam better than rafflecopter. I always seem to have issue with rafflecopter just sitting there loading indefinitely.

  5. Do you know if any of these glow under a black light?

  6. As far as I know only in the dark, I don't have a blacklight though so I'm not 100% sure

  7. Can you recommend some other good, strong glow-in-the-dark nail polishes?

  10. I liked your review and swatches so much that I just ordered the Halloween set, which also gets you a free LE polish thru October, one not for retail sale :) I have nothing like these and never tried a thermal polish because I wear tips with gel overlay...not sure if that will affect the thermal or not, so we'll see. I thought it was a good deal anyway and I'm always interested in trying new-to-me indie brands! I do more polish shopping in October than any other time, BCA month, Halloween, start of all the fall colors, just to name a few.

  12. Hi, just to let you know that gleam form didnt let me "follow you and SerumNo5 on twitter". I do follow both as @mejlik but unfortunately gleam repeated "The page at https://gleam.io/ says: Twitter said no. You are unable to follow more people at this time." :)
