Cirque Holiday 2014 Live It Up Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! I feel like its been a while since I blogged but its only been since Friday. I intended on posting but then life got in the way. On Saturday night after cleaning the bathtub in my spare bathroom I noticed a leak in the master bathroom at my condo and on Monday morning called a plumber to come over. I showed up at my place to meet the plumber and when I walked in I could hear water gushing...I walked into the bathroom and there was a large bubble of water on the wall. Luckily the plumber showed up about 10 minutes later and was able to mostly turn off the water and fix the pipe. Overall it was a big nightmare but its fixed for the most part, other than the giant hole in my wall. I'm so thankful I got there when I did, had I showed up after work like I do every other day my place likely would have been flooded.

So yeah...thats been my week so far. In happy house news the new flooring looks fantastic (luckily it was not messed up by that leak), my couch is getting delivered on Friday and I got my gigantic tv that I'll hook up over the long weekend. Also my new vertical blinds are all ready to be installed, the guys at work made them for me and they are sitting in the warehouse just waiting to come home!

Today I have a glitter-tactic post for ya, it's Cirque's Live It Up Collection for Holiday 2014! This collection is made up of 5 super fun glitters. Not only are these pretty but 2 of them (Holo-day Cheer and 8 Crazy Nights) also have 20% of the proceeds going to City Harvest which is a New York based rescue organization dedicated to feeding the nearly 1.5 million New Yorkers facing hunger. On to the glitter, check out all the swatches after the jump!

8 Crazy Nights is a mix of various shades of blue glitter along with silver holographic glitter. This one is LE and is one of the polishes with proceeds going to City Harvest. The formula was great, it was easy to apply with really nice glitter payoff. I used 1 coat plus top coat over Contrary Polish Be Merry for the photos below.

Shade

1999 is a white and silver holographic glitter topper. There are all kinds of shapes in here including stars, hex glitter and squares. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good glitter payoff. I used 1 coat plus top coat over Jordana Sunsational for the photos below.

Shade

Holo-Day Cheer is red, green, gold and silver holographic glitter in a clear base.  This is another LE shade with 20% of the proceeds going to City Harvest. The formula was great, easy to apply with good glitter payoff. I used 1 coat plus top coat over Jordana Pink Petunia for the photos below.

Shade

Let's Dance is a multi colored glitter topper in a clear base. There are all kinds of colors, purple, red, green, blue, gold and possibly more than I'm missing haha! The formula was great, easy to work with and fantastic glitter payoff. I used 1 coat plus top coat over Jordana Whimsical White for the photos below, all photos are in the shade!

One More Time is black, white and grey glitter in a slightly holo base. The holo is very subtle in my photos due to my base color but over a darker base it would be more evident. I used 1 coat plus top coat over Jordana Baby Blue for the photos below.

The Live It Up Collection from Cirque is available now at http://www.cirquecolors.com/ and on Amazon, each polish retails for $13!

  9. Let's Dance reminds me of Clown Puke from KB Shimmer. Super cute polish!
And sorry about your leak! I hate plumbing or electrical problems. I am clueless about either and when something goes wrong I always feel so vulnerable. They could tell me just about anything and I wouldn't know if I was getting ripped off or not.
