Cadillacquer Christmas 2014 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Well good news if you read my post the other day where I mentioned my monsters from hell in my condo (roaches), they have all been sentenced to death. I had an exterminator out yesterday to fix it all up and spray around my place to kill pretty much anything that has more than 4 legs that I don't want co-habitating with me once I move in.  For those who may worry I checked with the company about what they spray being harmful for Degen and they said it was pet safe for dogs and cats!

In other good news I have a pretty 4 piece collection for Christmas 2014 from Cadillacquer to share with you! These will be available starting tonight over on Cadillacquer's website (linked at the end of the post). Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Between Two Fir Trees is an off white (very light pink) crelly with small green glitter, little bits of golden holo glitter and tiny micro flakes of iridescent glitter. I like this one, it feels Christmas but it doesn't scream it. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with nice opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Glowing Christmas is a red jelly base with pink hex and square glitter along with fine silver glitter. I like how the different glitters in this one give it a ton of dimension, also it looks super squishy which is always a positive for me! The formula was good, it was a nice consistency with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Lights Will Guide You is a dark green crelly base with small green flakes of shimmer/glitter and various sizes of bronze glitter. This is my kinda color, the green flash from the bits of shimmer really pop out in the sun, it's gorgeous! The formula was good, it was easy to apply and nice and opaque. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

Night Clouds is a blue jelly base with gold holo square glitter, small bits of holo glitter and iridescent micro flakes of glitter. I love the tiny glitter in this one, depending on the light it either leans green or gold, it's such a pretty contrast with the base color! The formula was good just like all the others in the collection, easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats plus top coat for the photos below.

  4. These are nice! Also, get some borax powder, in the laundry section of your grocery store, and sprinkle it in the back of cabinets, especially under the sink. Really works to keep bugs away!

  7. These are lovely, but I was wondering if you could explain to me the difference between a normal nail polish, a crelly and a jelly? How do I know which one they are if I just pick up a bottle of polish that I like the look of in a store, or if I see one that looks interesting online that I want to buy?

The best way to know is to open the bottle and look at the brush, you can usually tell that way
