Zoya Holiday 2014 Wishes Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Friday! Anyone have fun plans this weekend? I'll be busy building a bunch of Ikea furniture and starting to move over to my new place! Today I have the Wishes Collection for Holiday 2014 from Zoya to share with you! This collection brings 6 new polishes, 3 of which are new Magical PixieDust polishes. Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Haven is a metallic purple shimmer. This is my favorite of the collection, it's a nice glow purple that is great for this time of year. The formula was good, easy to apply and nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Imogen is a black magical pixie dust. This was the only one of the pixie dust polishes in this collection that dried down with some texture. The formula was ok, it was a bit chunky but I didn't have any issues with application. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Nori is a sapphire blue magical pixie dust polish. I found that it didn't really dry down to a texture, even after a couple hours of drying it looked like a jelly with chunky glitter. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Prim is a soft purple toned blue frost. This is a little too frosty for me but I do like the base color. The formula was nice, it was easy to apply with great opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Thea is a purple magical pixie dust polish. Much like Nori it doesn't dry down very textured and looks more like glittery jelly polish. The formula was easy to work with and it had nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Willa is a black creme. The formula was a touch jelly-ish and it looked squishy once it dries. The formula was good, it was a two coater for me but depending on your application you might be able to get away with 1 coat.

The Wishes Collection from Zoya is available now at Zoya.com, the polishes retail from $9-$10.

  4. I only bought Imogen and Nori, and while i ADORE Imogen, Nori kinda disappointed me :(
Imogen showed so much holo in the glitter but Nori doesn't. Atleast not mine...

  5. I have Prim. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but it's a pretty color!

  6. KBShimmer's I've Got A Crush On Blue is the same shade as Nori, but with some larger glitter, and much more holographic. It's also 1.25 cheaper than the Zoya. (not counting shipping). The KBS isn't intended to be a texture, and is about as rough as Nori without topcoat. I'd definitely recommend KBS over Zoya on this one

  7. Your swatches are impeccable as ever but...this collection doesn't do it for me...Zoya hit a complete miss with this collection.

  9. Thea and Nori look like a jelly sandwich in one step! Fun! I love the color of Prim so much I may just get it and slap a matte top coat on it to hide the brush strokes.
