Scofflaw Winter 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have a brand new collection from Scofflaw to share with you, it's the Winter 2015 Collection! I'm always excited to see what Scofflaw will come out with, they never fail to come out with interesting combinations of glitter and shimmer. Their polishes also always have great names with super cute labels that go perfectly with the names of the polishes! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

All polishes in this post are shown with top coat in natural sunlight.

Clockwork Moth is a very pale green with gold shimmer and gold glitter along with iridescent shimmer and glitter. This is my favorite of the collection, I think the combo is interesting. It's one of those polishes you'll either love, like me, or hate haha! The formula was good, it was easy to apply with good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Dread Pirate Roberts is a black jelly base packed with copper and bronze glitter along with purple shimmer. The formula was good and it was easy to apply, its so glitter packed that you get great coverage with full opacity in 2 coats.s

Even Cowgirls Get The Blues is a dusty medium blue with burgundy, gunmetal, and blue glitter along with grey/purple shimmer. The formula was also good on this one, it was easy to work with and had good opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Kidnapped By Vikings is a taupe-y grey base with orange/lavender shifting shimmer and lavender glitter. This kind of reminds me of Chanel Paradoxal but in an awesome pumped up way. If you liked that polish you'll like this one. The formula was good, the opacity was good and it was easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Love Letter to Frida Kahlo is a pink-lavender base with golden-taupe shimmer and gold flecks. This is one that normally wouldn't be something that I think I'd like but on the nail it is gorgeous and complex. The formula was good, it was a touch sheer but easy to apply and build. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Maxwell Demon is a peachy base with lavender, red and blue glitter. The formula was good, it was easy to apply with really nice opacity. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Moriarty is a red jelly base black flecks and black glitter along with pale, almost see through, flecks of glitter. The formula was good, it was sheer but easily buildable and opaque in 3 coats.

Rabbit In The Moon is a dark blue jelly with sapphire blue glitter and silver flecks and shimmer. The formula was good, it was a little patchy but easy to work with. I used 2 coats for the photos below, but as you can see I still had some patchiness (couldn't see it in person) so 3 coats might be better.

Velocipedestrienne is an aqua base with violet shimmer and dark green, violet and mint glitter. The formula was good, it was a little sheer at first but easy to work with and easy to build. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

  5. When I first saw Velocipedestrienne, I really wanted it, but now I'm not so sure... I do love Rabbit in the Moon and Maxwell Demon (which had the opposite effect of Velocipedestrienne), though. And I probably need Dread Pirate Roberts just for the name.
