GlitterDaze The Mythical Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Well good news if you've been following my house drama, I had the mold remediated last week and yesterday I had a company come in and do an air test to make sure all the mold is gone. They send the tests to a lab in South Carolina and I should  hopefully get the results back in a few days. Hopefully after that I'll finally live in my house haha! Today I have the Mythical Collection from GlitterDaze to share with you. This first part of the collection is made up of 5 flakie toppers. I believe GlitterDaze just released a few more shades which is exciting! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Formula wise all 5 polishes were good, they were a nice consistency and easy to work with for layering. I used 1 coat of each polish over a black base. Much like the ILNP flakies I posted the other day these are multichomatic and don't need a dark base to show all the different colors, you can also work them up to full opacity on their own though that will take probably 3-4 coats. All photos in this post are in the shade!

Essence of a Unicorn has flakies that shift pink, purple, green and blue...however there is pretty much the whole rainbow of flakies in here so you'll see a bunch of different colors depending on the angle of your hand.

Forbidden Fairy Dust shifts mostly between orange, green and yellow with little flakes of pink and orange. There is also a bunch of holographic shimmer in this one so its pretty in all lighting. This is my favorite of the 5 polishes in this post!

Interstellar Dragon shifts mostly between orange, red and green with bits of copper and bronze.

Moonlit Mermaid shifts mostly between blue and green, very ocean-y!

Nymphomaniac is another with a rainbow of flakies but it shifts mostly between pink, green, blue and gold.

GlitterDaze is available at http://shopglitterdaze.com/, each of the polishes in this collection retails for $12.50

  1. I so so wish I could get my hands on these...

  2. These are all amazing and ugh stop it, Sana! :-p And I hope you can finally move into your houseeeeeeee!!!!

  3. Oh Moonlit Mermaid is so beautiful! I'm always drawn to the blue/green colour shift ... love it! :)

  4. Is it just me, or is anyone else a bit bored of all these flakies now? I bought loads when ILNP brought hers out, then a few more from other brands, but to be honest, it's already old news to me.

  5. Love these polishes and really love the names!

  6. A gorgeous collection, just love them. :-)

  7. These are gorgeous! I need to get my hands on some of these so I can play, too!

  8. These are just gorgeous. I'm definitely going to have to find a mule in the USA who will ship polishes to me from there. I know some of my friends online have someone who does that for them. We miss out on so much because the USA is so strict on sending nail polish in the mail. Hopefully they'll wake up to themselves soon. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us all with your nail art and reviews.

  9. You are so lucky to be able to get polishes like these in the USA. It's so hard here in Tasmania, Australia (way down at the bottom end of Australia on the right hand side when looking at the map). If you have any spares you don't want you could always send them to me. I'd love them.
